Not human anymore? Keagan frowned at what Otto said. Then again, she didn't want to overthink about it. She had her own problems, and she felt like getting nosy would only reinforce her defense mechanism. Getting distracted by someone else's problem didn't solve any of hers.
Still, her mind wouldn't let it go. Even if Otto hummed to think clearly, she just leaned on her seat. Her mouth still moved to speak words she didn't mean. "Wren and Mr. Lev will notice that, too, right? Let's just think more about it when it becomes something we should meddle in. We are still outsiders to the Chastain family even if we live in Wren's household."
"Hm, Miss Allard is correct. I'll just tell Madam when I have the chance." Otto chuckled as he watched Keagan from the rearview mirror. He then gazed at Gephardt's suspicious gaze. "Uhm, I didn't get to see them properly when they visited us. I don't think I can attest to her being less human from the time she entered our estate, Master Gephardt."
