Chapter 120 - 10 Certified Blades

Boombox strode through the lively streets of the island, his mind buzzing with thoughts of upgrading his weapons. After the intense battles they had faced, he wanted something that would pack a punch. As he wandered, he spotted a sign for a shop called "Blades of the Infinite", its entrance adorned with intricate carvings of weapons.

"Seems like I can get some good weapons there" Pushing the door open, he was greeted by the glint of numerous blades displayed on the walls. The shop was dimly lit, but the craftsmanship of each weapon shone brightly. A stout man with a bushy beard and an apron covered in soot stood behind the counter, polishing a beautifully designed dagger.

"Welcome! What brings you to my humble shop?" the shop owner asked, his voice booming yet friendly.

"I'm looking for some new daggers," Boombox replied, eyeing the impressive array of weapons.

"Something sharp and deadly." The shop owner nodded knowingly.

"You dual wield, not often you see dual wielded daggers… You've come to the right place… Have you heard about the Ten Certified Blades?" Boombox raised an eyebrow, intrigued.

"Certified Blades?"

"Indeed! Crafted by the finest blacksmith in the Infinite Sea, known as Demon Lord Mesomorphic. Each blade is unique and carries powerful enhancements, making them the top choice for any warrior. They are not just weapons; they're works of art." Boombox smirked.

"Sounds impressive… What makes them so special?" Boombox inquired.

"Each blade has its own abilities, and some even carry curse amplification, making them deadlier in the right hands. But they come at a price, of course—quality like this doesn't come cheap." The shop owner gestured to a display case where several elegantly designed blades gleamed. Boombox's eyes landed on a pair of daggers, their handles wrapped in dark black leather. The blades were short and serrated. Red flames painted on the side radiate an aura of darkness. The blades shimmering with a faint glow.

"Those two… what are they?"

"Ah, those are the Shadowfang Daggers," the owner said, pride evident in his voice.

"They carry a curse amplification effect. When used in combat, they can enhance the damage dealt to your enemies, feeding off their fear and pain. A perfect choice for a stealthy warrior like yourself." Boombox leaned closer, inspecting the daggers.

"Wouldn't say I'm stealthy… I'll take them," he declared, feeling a surge of excitement.

"Wise choice! Just know that these blades require respect; misuse could lead to unforeseen consequences." The shop owner retrieved the daggers, carefully wrapping them in a cloth. As Boombox paid for the daggers, the owner leaned in slightly, a conspiratorial look on his face.

"You know, the stories of the Demon Lord Mesomorphic are quite legendary. They say he crafts his weapons with not just skill, but with a part of his own essence. Each blade tells a story. Are you ready to add your own to these?" Boombox smirked, accepting the daggers with a firm grip.

"I am. Let's see what stories they'll help me tell." With his new weapons in hand, Boombox stepped out of the shop, feeling a sense of empowerment. The world around him seemed sharper, more vibrant. He was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, armed with the strength of his new Shadowfang Daggers.

As the setting sun shone brightly over the bustling town, Moon found himself surrounded by a crowd of enthusiastic townsfolk. Cheers and laughter filled the air as the preparations for the festival came to life. Everyone seemed eager to celebrate the crew's victory, and Moon, tall and imposing, was an undeniable focal point of attention.

"Mister Moon! Over here!" a young girl shouted, clutching a piece of paper and a marker. Before he knew it, he was being handed a series of items to sign: posters, flags, even a small wooden figure crafted in his likeness. Moon couldn't help but smile, but after signing a few autographs, he excused himself.

"Thanks, everyone! Enjoy the festival!" he called out, waving as he slipped away from the crowd. As he walked through the fairground, Moon felt a twinge of self-consciousness. His height made it difficult to find clothes that fit well. He spotted a quaint shop nestled between two larger stalls, its window displaying an array of colorful fabrics and unique designs. Stepping inside, Moon was greeted by the shop owner, an older woman with kind eyes.

"Welcome, dear! What brings you in today?"

"I need some new clothes," he replied, glancing at the racks.

"I'm a bit tall, so I need something that fits just right." Moon leans under the roof. His height of 14 feet being more of a curse.

"Ah, we specialize in custom tailoring here! Let me take your measurements, and I'll whip up something fantastic for you!" she said, her enthusiasm infectious.

As Moon stood there, getting measured and discussing styles, he heard the familiar voice of Cani just outside the shop. Curious, he peeked out to see her walking around the fairground, a radiant smile on her face as she admired the decorations.

"Cani!" he called out, stepping outside. She turned, her eyes lighting up as she approached him.

"Moon! You look like you've been busy," she teased, glancing at the crowd still milling about, some pointing in his direction.

"Yeah, I can't escape the fans," he laughed, running a hand through his hair.

"I was just picking out some new clothes. You?" Cani gives a sarcastic acceptance look. Is this really the man that used to be the World Governments strongest Admiral?

"Just enjoying the festival preparations," she replied, looking around at the vibrant scene.

"It's so happy here now, isn't it? After everything we've been through…"

"It is. It feels like we finally have a moment to breathe," Moon said, his voice softening.

"But we can't forget the World Government and Demon Lord Buki are still out there, hot on our tails." Cani nodded, her expression turning serious.

"I know… We can't let our guard down… They'll want revenge for Ikati's defeat, and we need to be ready." Moon sighed, glancing at the festive decorations fluttering in the breeze.

"It's a strange feeling, celebrating our victory while knowing danger still lurks. But for now, I guess we should enjoy this moment."

"Agreed," Cani said, a determined glint in her eye.

"We'll celebrate, but we'll also keep our plans in motion. We'll be ready for whatever comes next." Moon nods.

"Exactly"
