While running the tractor through the back part of the field a injured deer suddenly ran out of the woods in front of me. Without thinking I veered out of the way. That was a big mistake the ground gave out from under the tractor and before I could jump off I found myself pinned under it in this hole. As mud and water started pulling me under all I could think was this a hell of a way to go after all I've survived.
Everything started to fade to black as I could feel life slipping away. I thought that was going to be it, but I started to see this light that seemed to draw towards it. It felt almost blinding but when thought it it would be painful my vision cleared and found myself in a dark place or I should say. I appeared to be in space surrounded by distant stars in all directions.
I felt in significant in the vastness of it. I was without form floating in all of this when I heard a voice," don't be afraid."
I couldn't tell up from down let alone where this voice could be coming from. But even with that it felt comforting.
"You have died but were not ment to."
" What," I said " I wasn't supposed to die?"
"Yes " replied the voice.
I am sorry to tell you this but you were not supposed to die. The deer that diverted you path and forced you into that sinkhole was not supposed to be there. You were meant to find the sinkhole later and deal with it and live to be an old man.
"So what happens now," I replied.
"Well there are only two choices really," The disembodied voice replied."One continue in the reincarnation cycle or two you can transmigrate to a new body and life."
" If I choose the later will I remember anything from this life" I asked?
"Yes unless you wish otherwise, but if not you will retain any useful skills and knowledge from your previous life as they are ingrained in your soul." That voice replied. "And as an apology those that wouldn't work can be converted to function in the new world, as I can see a fair few that could be quite useful."
"How can you see them," I asked?
They are written on your soul, everything you've done, seen or experienced I can see it clearly as if reading a book," that disembodied voice replied.
" shall we start,what is your choice"?
Yes.
