After paying for the room, I went inside and freshened up. It did not even take me half an hour to do everything I needed to do amidst the incessantly arriving telepathy messages of Xenos, asking me if I have arrived at my destination and if I would be picking him up already. I simply said I just arrived and just found a place to stay but I want to find nice food places to have my meal first.
Xenos immediately quieted down by a notch. He must have been thinking that I was tired and hungry so he shouldn't be bothering me too much for now. Just when I thought that he would rest, he suddenly asked, "You are going shopping and you do not want me to see how much you will be spending."
It took every bit of my being not to laugh or make any audible reactions as I heard what Xenos just said. It was not a question but more of a statement said with confidence. I wanted to laugh out loud so badly because he was right.
