[3rd POV]
Lucifer found that the new Underworld was more and more interesting the longer they explored it. The game store that they had chosen had turned out to be a front for this large mob operation, an operation that entirely worked around...pirating hells games.
Turns out the game store was run by a bunch of people that had pirated games, shows, etc in their human lives. Which was certainly an interesting thing to see, she doubted that they were in hell because they had pirated things, but it was still amusing.
The people that ran the shop ere not really evil or anything, so they decided on buying from them either way.
The shop itself was actually quite large, definitely bigger than most other game stores that Lucifer had seen in the other worlds she had been so thus far. The shop itself also had tons of games both old and new. And they even sold games that were made in hell by the developers that Lucifer had been expecting to be there.
This meant that Beatrix had a LOT of games to choose from, and even quite a few consoles. The games that were made in hell were certainly...interesting though, as a large majority of them were extremely graphic, to an almost overwhelming level.
Lucifer thought that a majority of them were basically just porn games, and were not very good...like at all. They were also just not games that her daughters would be touching with a ten foot pole, not that they would even be interested.
It was the consoles that had really caught Beatrix's attention, as they were genuinely superior to anything in the Earth realm. By quite a bit at that. They were several times stronger than anything they had on Earth, and they also used some form of magic in their running.
Which is why they ended up buying all of them. But not before Lucifer had made sure to get rid of any bad influences on the console. These bad influences were mostly things like curses, subtle wards that would mess with the players mental state, making them addicted to the console.
There were also several other things built into it that seemed to stop any form of cheating or hacking, which was pretty interesting. Said in built systems were actually perfectly fine, and were not negatively harming the console at all, so she left those be as well. This way the kids could enjoy the new consoles without any problems arising.
Beatrix was very happy with the trip, since Lucifer had decided to spoil all of her chidlren as well as her wife and even Hope. So she put no limit on what they could buy, as long as it would be able to come back home with them, and wasn't anything super weird or illegal.
Beatrix had taken full advantage of this, and had bought pretty much every single game that caught her eye. She had made sure to ignore the shitty games, which were almost entirely super smutty over the top raunchy games.
She instead focused on action games and RPGs. All of them looking interesting enough for her to buy.
After finishing their time at the game store for Beatrix, they had decided on their next two spots that they would be able to get done that day. One would be for another of her daughters, and the other would be for Alice.
The daughter in question was Rose, and they had decided on going to a store that actually sold magic. The store in question was...probably not very legal, but they had a ton of books on magic from the Underworld. Varying from rituals to sacrifice the soul of a virgin to become stronger, to other less...graphic ones.
Like one that involved sacrificing gold to increase your beauty, within limit at least. Most of the rituals were interesting enough, but could not be usable more than once. And a LOT of them were not easy to do, and simply far too graphic for her children to even remotely touch.
Rose had found the other magic books far more interesting. With these magics involving summoning demonic beasts and creatures. Ones that are native to hell, and could not be found anywhere else. There was even books on how to mutate normal plants and animals through the usage of demonic power, which was very interesting, and genuinely useful.
Vi had found some books on martial arts based magics, but not much more than that.
Powder had found some books on engineering and other areas that involved using magic to supplement actual power. This meant she had a new energy source she would be able to use to power her various inventions.
Daenerys had even found her own book, which was on demonic dragons that were very very ancient, and largely deceased. The demonic beasts themselves were some of the strongest in the Underworld, due to their inherent power, and the fact that they grow stronger the older they get.
Without limit.
Hope had found a magic book on some magics that were more similar to the ones she knew from her world, so she ended up grabbing them all since she figured her aunt Freya would love to read on some new magics, even if she might not be able to use it.
It could give her ideas for further spells, so it was good enough in her mind.
By the time they had left the bookstore, it was lunch time. So they had stopped to get some food, which ended up being burgers. The burgers were made by a deceased Michelin star chef that had specialized in burgers when he was alive.
And it showed. As his burgers were genuinely delicious.
After having the tasty burgers, the family then moved onto what Alice wanted to do. Which was actually some clothes shopping.
She had been really interested in seeing what sort of clothes they had in hell, and whether or not they were any different from the ones on Earth.
They were.
The materials for one. They were FAR more resilient than anything they had on Earth, many times stronger and many times more resilient. This was because of several things, all of which were very obvious.
Like the fact that they were in hell, where there was flames...everywhere. So, they were all naturally very flame resistant. Of course, that was in comparison to normal flames. But the flames of hell? They would burn pretty much any set of clothing except for the highest grade ones.
Like the clothes worn by the Ars Goetia.
Another reason why the clothes were so much better there, was because they were also passively imbued with magic on a deep level. Another pretty obvious reason.
The materials were also all from hell itself, so they were naturally just superior versions of anything on Earth, except for maybe the highest end minerals there. And even that was very unlikely.
The only bad thing about the clothes of the Underworld was that a LOT of them were very very revealing, because...well, public displays of nudity and suh was pretty normal there. So a lot of the clothes revealed pretty much everything without much worry.
Thankfully Alice had managed to find a store that was close and had all clothes that were functional and not revealing at all. Perfectly appropriate for them to wear. And pretty comfortable too, especially once Lucifer imbued them with a bit of her power.
All in all the family had enjoyed their day out shopping, and were now heading back to the hotel towards the end of the day. With the shopping lasting far longer than Lucifer had initially believed.
And as they headed towards the hotel, Lucifer noticed a large object in the distance, causing her to chuckle, one thought on her mind.
'Seems that Sir Pentious has made his first visit to the hotel'
