"Are you sure about this?" Clovis asked with a serious expression.
"Yeah." Mara nodded. "I am not joking with you."
Clovis scratched the back of his head.
"Is there something wrong? Or am I not good enough for you?" Mara asked.
"It's not about that." Clovis waved his hand. They had spent time together for a year and a half. If he said there was nothing happening between them, no one would actually believe him. Even he couldn't believe himself.
The problem was that it was too sudden. Despite never saying anything about it, they knew that something was already going on.
In addition, both of them had been linked because of the voices in their heads.
Clovis took a deep breath before extending his hand. "If you don't mind someone like me, then I'd be glad to have you."
Mara nodded. "I am also curious about something…"
"What is it?"
"The reality… Us in that reality." Mara looked at Clovis with firm resolve, showing that she was already aware of a portion of the truth.
