"What took you so long?" She frowned.
"How about sleep? It's a human being's basic requirement."
She scoffed. "Don't suddenly start acting like a human who has human needs."
"But Spicy is a human," Mingshen grimaced. "Why the hell are you crying over her first thing in the morning?"
She cried. "Because Jia goes on early morning jogs!"
"So?"
"I had decided to join her too," she pouted. "To spend some quality time with my daughter-in-law."
"I think you didn't get the memo yet that Spicy lives with us. Under the same roof."
"But I didn't find her!" She cried. "She was supposed to be already up. But she is not answering at all. Is she okay? Has someone kidnapped her?" She gasped.
Oh damn, Jia bit her tongue. I completely forgot about the morning jog.
Mingshen's brow twitched. "Abduct her from the Yang mansion? Our house?"
She sniffled and nodded.
