In all fairness, Murphy had taken the youth very seriously. And that was why he had summoned his undead army from the beginning, without any hesitation whatsoever.
After all, he had already seen what had happened to his ally when he wasn't able to summon his own undead army. The outcome was disastrous, for Orion had ended up utterly injured and knocked out cold.
So when Murphy brought out the full force of his undead horde, he was confident in defeating Edward.
After all, the youth had only just emerged from a grueling battle with Orion and was pretty injured himself. Moreover, he would be facing over a hundred undead creatures led by two powerful Rank 4 undead knights.
