Adam walked through the cobbled streets of North Borough.
It had been three days since he met up with the folks from the Twilight Brotherhood. That was a lot of time to think about certain things — especially his future.
The fact that the Brotherhood was reduced to a mere shadow of its former self made him feel sad for some reason.
Perhaps it was because he had high expectations, but was ultimately disappointed. Or maybe it was that he very much disliked seeing that the organization he looked up to was reduced to such a state.
Either way, it was not a good feeling.
He walked under the shade of palm trees planted along the footpath. Men and women in well-dressed clothes passed him by, but he did not pay them any attention.
Hands tucked away comfortably inside his pockets, he absentmindedly walked to his destination.
He raised his head, his gaze landing on the breathtaking night canvas of Myrrandor. He couldn't help but sigh.
