Guisu suddenly asked, "Did you recover your memory?"
His voice was very low, so low that only Baili Xia could hear it.
Baili Xia was stunned: "No, why do you ask?"
She didn't know where she had slipped up, allowing Guisu to see through it.
"I saw you over by the main house."
"Are you investigating past events?"
There was a clear flash of panic in Baili Xia's eyes; she hadn't expected to be discovered by Guisu while hidden in a corner of the main house.
Guisu spotted her; did Brother You see her too?
"No, I just happened to be passing by for something."
"Why didn't you come out to meet us?"
Guisu's questions came one after another, leaving Baili Xia no room to think.
Any hesitation would make him think she was lying.
"You should know that there is some discord between me and Uncle, and I really don't want to see him."
Guisu's sharp eyes locked onto Baili Xia, trying to see if she was deceiving him.
But, he saw nothing.
"Guisu, stop being so suspicious."
