Nangong Yi said, "Earlier, when I was observing secretly, I found that not everyone had left."
Ruan Tianling raised an eyebrow, "Who hasn't left?"
Jian Yufei instinctively looked around.
The island seemed to have only the three of them, empty and very quiet.
Nangong Yi pursed his lips and said, "Those maids. I only saw the bodyguards get on the helicopter, but didn't see any of the maids."
Jian Yufei and Ruan Tianling exchanged glances.
It seemed they never paid attention to the maids...
"Besides, Nangong Wenhua and the others weren't seen either; I reckon they're still in the castle on the mountain."
Ruan Tianling frowned, "Are you suspecting something?"
Nangong Yi said, "I just feel it's too eerily quiet here. Even if Nangong Xu didn't take the maids, where did they all go?"
"They're not in the castle," Jian Yufei quickly said.
They had just come out of the castle and didn't see a single maid from beginning to end.
