At first, I thought that I might be mistaken and the creature that I was looking at was just an ornament until it blinked, meaning this was actually alive and not just a display piece.
Now that I knew it was actually real, I realised that this might be the creature that the smuggler captain was talking about and I was honestly at a loss of words on how to deal with this.
Yumiko appeared beside me, her swords raised and watching the creature that was just laying there and staring at us with its beady eyes.
"Mistress? What is that thing?"
I hesitated, wondering if the creature was what I think it was, especially considering its size.
Perhaps it was just something that looked like what I thought but it was actually an alien creature or something… But then I remembered that the animals I know in my old universe also exist here so there's a really high possibility that it was what I thought it was.
