There were screams and roars echoing out around the hall as the animals were let loose.
And as though their work was done, the thugs that had been fighting around me suddenly just picked up their things and started running out of there.
They were even dragging along the corpses of their comrades and the equipment that they had dropped, as though they were making sure that they did not leave behind any evidence for people to connect this back to them.
I wanted to stop them but the animals were rushing out of their enclosures and growling at the people around them which made them a much bigger threat than these thugs.
I leapt away from them and called out to my girls, "Do your best to protect the guests!! Guide them to a safe area!!"
The fact that my girls, who would even face down a horde of enemies that outnumber them ten to one, were looking out at the animals that were released with fear, was definitely something that I found ironic.
