Light just began to crest over the pointed mountain overlooking the growing city as it began to wake up to its usual busyness

James spoke explaining what he has already done
" it should take them a week at most if they fly to get there." Lazza said looking over a map sitting at the center of the table they were around tracing it with her fingers
" how do we even know were they are going or who took them." Selena spoke up this time looking at the map
" because there is only one person with a grudge and is powerful enough to still make moves here the same man who hired me." Jonah voice echoed this time answering her question
" wish we could summon the king but where they are is interfering with the coin and our communication. " James lamented after which lazza spoke up
" we will just handle it then and prove to this city...our city they can rely on us too." They all nodded in unison just as Liam walked in and placed a cylindrical device

The light of the candle slowly flickers as I stare at it not wanting to acknowledge the empty table in front of me until the candle started to fade
Leaving the little dining area of our room and the scent of untouched food i sat on the bed gripping the flowers i held tighter almost crushing the stems my emotions beginning to rise
' is she going to gone all night.' The weight of what was happening began to settle when the door opened and Elise entered like she wasn't expecting me to be up or here
