Creak,creak,creak the sound of the moving carriage of the first vampire prince.
Inside the royal carriage,prince Ephraim and his aide are sitted on opposite sides of the carriage.Damon secretly check out the Prince face for any form of emotions like anger,disgust or rage but he couldn't find any on his handsome face.
"Damon I will be going ahead to the human king palace,meet me there" the prince told him before disappearing.
Damon sighed and said, 'I don't think I will ever get used to the prince disappearing from my front' he smiled.
In the throne room of the human king,a figure was seen forming in the center of the room disrupting the ongoing meeting the human king is having with his court about the coming of the vampire prince.Coming out of the forming shadow is the said vampire prince with a mocking smirk on his face because of the fear he was getting from the human royal court.
"Prince E-phraim i-iii thought y-o-u sai-d in the letter that you will be coming in later in the evening" came the fearful voice of king Otis.
"I can see you are talking about me" Ephraim nods, his cold stare sweeping over everyone in attendance of the meeting.
"Ehm we were just talking about the contents of the letter your father's messenger sent" King Otis replied him in a shaking voice.
"Ohhh about that,I just need you to invite everyone to tomorrow's ball.The everyone include the middle class and the poor. You will invite every damn citizen in this kingdom,not only your nobles" Ephraim dictated.
"What will I get in return for your request prince Ephraim. It will not be easy for my subordinates to inform the whole kingdom of this huge change. It may be easy for you vampires,but it is a difficult task for me because of human population" king Otis explained.
Ephraim raised his brows at the human king's explanation before asking, "How about an alliance with me? But on one clause, you will give me anything I want from your kingdom" Prince Ephraim stated.
King Otis thought about his proposal. Making him ally is a very good thing for their kingdom because he will be able to prevent wars in the future. What's best than having the most dangerous and strongest vampire protecting him?
"I agree to your terms" King Otis agreed since they have nothing of worth to give anyway,they will be the one benefiting the most. Through the alliance his kingdom would now be allowed to trade with vampires disguised as humans or legendary witches.
Then parchment was brought forward and the deal was sealed with the blood of the human king and that of the vampire first prince.The meeting ended after that.
"Will you please do me the honor of showing me the way to my assigned room, I need to rest" Ephraim said to the human king.King Otis showed him his room and that of his aide which is beside the one given to him.
[Come to my assigned room at the west side of the palace with my clothes I want to bath] Ephraim mind linked his aide.
Inside the carriage Damon tapped on the wooden partition of the carriage to call the attention of the coach man to him.
'Stop here I will be going ahead to meet the prince,he asked me to bring some things to him.When I am done make sure that you pick up the prince royal crest that is on the carriage seat for recognition at the castle gate'. He quickly picked up his bag and that of his prince before disappearing.
'My prince I am here with the clothes',Damon informed when he got to the room.
"Drop my bag. Tomorrow during the ball,I want you to ask the human king of the signed parchment"
Damon wondered about the deal the Prince made with the human king.Then he answered 'Ohkay' turning towards the door. The Prince told him his room is beside his before he left.
