I am currently standing on one of the fishing decks, wearing black-and-red swimming trunks, and watching everyone playing in the water with a beach ball.
To my left, I notice Hajime tinkering with his gauntlets, likely upgrading them for the upcoming war.
Right then, I heard voices calling out to us…
"Rihito!"
"Papa!"
"Hajime!"
"Stop standing around and join us." Myu, Shea, Yue and others called out to us with a volleyball in their hands.
"Pass the ball." With that declaration, I joined them, Hajime too followed after stashing his equipment.

We played around till lunchtime, when Remia and Tohru handed us refreshments and snacks.
"Papa, I want to see the seven legends of the Erisen with you," Myu suddenly requested.
"Hmm… Seven legends?" Rihito's brow raised.
"I didn't know Erisen had those," I asked Remia.
Sipping her drink, Remia began to explain, "Yes, there are seven significant locations in the sea that were crucial to the formation of Erisen. According to legend, without these places, Erisen might not have become what it is today."
"That's quite the intriguing story," Tio responded.
"If these places are that important, will they not be guarded and restricted?" Shizuku raised a point.
"There is no need to worry about that. Although these places are important and cherished, they are now just underwater caves teeming with fish and other sea creatures. With the right gear and preparation, anyone can explore them," Remia explained with a smile, ruffling Myu's hair.
"Are these places considered tourist spots now?" I asked.
"Yes, but the only problem is it's quite hard to get there," she raised her concerns.
"With the Vela or the big Submarine, we should be able to get there easily. Plus, you all have got stronger. I doubt any normal monsters stand a chance here," Rihito said, patting Myu.
"Well, we are leaving soon. Might as well see everything Erisen has to offer," Hajime agreed.
Myu was elated hearing our response and exclaimed in joy, "Yeah~"
While enjoying the moment and sipping my drink, I looked at the sea with slightly narrowed eyes. For quite a while, I have been staring in the same direction.
Shizuku and others had noticed my absent-minded state, but they didn't pry into it. After seeing me occasionally looking in the same direction, Shizuku finally asked, "What are you looking for?"
"Remember that I talked about a Leviathan that I had saved from a giant octopus a while back?"
Everyone stopped chatting and lending an ear, their attention on me, "It is currently in that direction, about 5 kilometres from here, staying there for some reason."
Remia, hearing that, grabbed Myu closer and looked at me worryingly, "Is it trying to attack Erisen?"

"Leviathan," Myu's eyes sparkled as she heard that. "Papa, I want to see that Leviathan. Can I please?" She looked at me with her puppy-dog eyes.
I groaned inwardly, but before I could say anything, Remia intervened. "Absolutely not. You are not going anywhere," Remia said, sternly halting Myu's excitement.
"B but…" Myu tried to protest, but Remia didn't budge. In the end, Myu had to cave in.
"Master, do you want me to deal with it and bring it here…?" As always, Tohru always chooses violence.
"No, I will deal with it myself. Wait here," Rihito said, and with that, he moved so fast it seemed to them he had disappeared from their sight. Only Tohru was able to follow his movements.
In minutes, I appeared above the area where the Leviathan was waiting. I slightly flared my mana. Just as I thought, the Leviathan surfaced.
"So, you came from me, huh?" I speak.
"Gurraaauua," it growls in a low, non-threatening tone.
To talk to her, I use
[Strong one, I am here to thank you for saving my life back then.] The Leviathan bowed. Her telepathic voice was a rougher version of an older woman's.
[Is that all? Alright, I accept.] I waited for her to leave, but she didn't move.
[One more thing,] she spoke.
My brow rose in wonder [What?]
From beside her, a smaller creature, about 5 feet tall, jumps out, nuzzling the leviathan's head, its skin a lighter shade of blue.
[This creature is the offspring I have recently given birth to,] the leviathan explained.
Rihito was about to speak, but she cut me off.
[I want to turn her over to you,] she says in a calm tone.
"..."
"What!"
[Yes, I want you, the strong one, to take this child with you.]
The baby Leviathan looked at me with childlike curiosity and cooed.
"Kyuuuu"

The leviathan swam near me and began rubbing its head against my cheek.
[It seems she has taken a liking to you, strong one]
"Kyu kyu~" the baby leviathan cooed in agreement.
[Why hand your child over to me?] Rihito asked in slight bewilderment.
[I am sure you have noticed that the sea is quite turbulent, as the creatures are currently fighting one another to claim the masterless territory. I am sure you understand why?]
"Because I killed the Kraken and the Devourer?" Rihito mumbled, nodding in understanding.
[Yes, after giving birth to the child, I am currently weakened. And it seems this news has spread among those who want to claim my territory.] Leviathan's eyes narrowed just at the thought of it.
[In this state, if I fight, I can't protect the child and my territory at the same time. It's highly likely the child would die in this conflict. As a parent, I want the child to grow up big and strong.]
Rihito stays silent and hears Leviathan out.

I took the little leviathan back with me, and as I expected, Myu was extremely happy to see the baby leviathan. They instantly became friends.
"Hehe~ let's go there," Myu giggled happily.
"Kyu~ Kyu~" the little leviathan responded with equal energy to her.
"Seriously, a baby leviathan," hajime looked at Myu playing with it.
His tired gaze fell on me. "Can you not do some outlandish thing every third day?"
"What else was I supposed to do? Leviathan handed her to me."
"This happened because of you in the first place," Hajime said, rolling his eyes.
"From now on, your name will be Levy."
"Kyu~ Kyu~" the baby leviathan, now named Levy, started hugging and licking Myu in joy,
We looked at Myu and couldn't help but smile at her.
"It seems Levy likes the name," Remia said.
We watched as Myu happily rode on Levy's back, while Levy cooed and swam around with her.
