When An Ziqing woke up, most of the bandages on her body had already been removed, so she didn't have to walk around like a mummy.
"Brother Ling Chuan went out to handle some matters!" Gu Yifeng said directly when he saw her opening her eyes and looking around for something.
An Ziqing let out an "oh" and glanced at the bed beside her, "When did he leave?"
"Before dawn, he left after making sure you were sound asleep. He stayed with you the whole time!" Gu Yifeng said teasingly.
An Ziqing's face lit up with a smile, "Oh!"
"You're probably secretly over the moon! I heard he didn't even bother with Li Xian and came straight to find you!"
Seeing him keep teasing her, An Ziqing pulled off the bandage wrapped around her palm and threw it at him, "What do you know, kid! I'm going to the bathroom!"
An Ziqing was having difficulty climbing out of bed, as one leg was injured and inconvenient to use.
