The nanny called out to the driver, asking him to drive Little Ai to the gate.
This villa was the one Chenxing's grandmother used to live in. It's neither too far nor too close to the bridge. On a rainy day, with an umbrella, Little Ai would need at least half an hour to walk there.
The car was not going slow, but Little Ai, looking at the rain outside the window, kept urging the driver.
"Uncle driver, can you drive a bit faster?"
"It's just a matter of two or three minutes, Miss Xiao, are you in a hurry?"
"Yes, very urgent." Little Ai said, "Please hurry."
Not even two or three minutes, even thirty seconds felt unbearable for her. The wind and rain outside were so strong, with every extra second, Wubai would be drenched for another minute. What if he catches a cold or a fever? She can't take care of him right now with her pregnancy. He doesn't like having a bunch of servants around him, would he just fall sick in bed and endure it himself?
