Inside the military prison.
Ye Qingyu stood outside the cell, watching the person inside the room.
Lu Er wore the loose clothes of a prisoner, pacing back and forth in the cell, muttering, "I'm pregnant, I have a child! Where is my child?"
Saying this, her hand moved to her belly, "Baby be good, mommy will protect you... When October comes, after you're born, you must protect mommy well~"
Her gaze was vacant, her whole demeanor insane.
Ye Qingyu turned his head to Xiao Li: "How long has she been like this?"
Xiao Li answered, "Since she was sentenced to death penalty, she became like this the next day."
Indeed, treason and attempted murder of fellow soldiers, these crimes ultimately led Lu Er to receive the nation's harshest punishment, the death penalty, immediate execution.
The troops did not show leniency because she was Gan Cheng's fiancée; her sins were too severe to be forgiven.
But who knew, the next day, she went insane.
