Little An looked at Jayden Maguire's little bird and said dismissively, "Your little bird is all black and ugly."
Jayden Maguire glanced down and even he was dismissive, "Yeah, it's really ugly. Maybe it's better if it's cut off. Who knows, a pretty one might grow back."
"Yeah, a new one would look better. Look at mine, it's like a white peanut."
Little An said this while lowering his pants to his knees, proudly showing off his pretty little bird to Jayden Maguire.
"It really is white and pretty. Hurry up and cut mine off. I want a bird like yours."
"Okay."
Little An took a fruit knife in one hand and picked up Jayden Maguire's now-soft little bird with the other, saying curiously, "It's soft. It hasn't turned to stone!"
"It's not a stone now, but who knows when it'll turn into one again." Jayden Maguire said with a wailing face, "I must have been cursed by a witch."
"Cut it off then, and the witch's spell will be broken."
"Okay, you cut, but be gentle, I'm afraid of pain."
