"Honey, still sleeping?"
Judging by her voice, low and husky, with a downward inflection, she should still be lying in bed.
Whenever Mark Reed speaks to Valentine Teller, his lips unconsciously curve into a handsome smile, even though she can't see it, his expression remains gentle.
"Mm, I'm... sleeping."
She turned over, without feeling any abdominal pain, nor sensing any blood flow. She touched her belly, the child still with her, accompanying her, asleep.
"Little Lazy Pig, it's noon already, aren't you hungry?"
He instinctively toyed with the pen in his hand. He had been busy all morning and just came out of the conference room, eager to call her.
This Little Lazy Pig is truly getting lazier, but he'd rather she be a bit lazy, for he worries if she's too active.
