Valentine Teller gazed fixedly at the beautiful woman in front of her, her eyes sparkling brightly, hoping she would tell her Mark Reed's whereabouts. If he was nearby, she could go find him and give him a surprise.
The woman said in a completely formal tone, "Mr. Reed has gone to the branch office. He won't be back for a few days. Do you have an urgent matter, or do you want me to pass on a message?"
Disappointed, Valentine uttered an "Oh" and waved her hand saying, "Then never mind, I'll just send him a message on WeChat myself!"
She wondered if he was intentionally avoiding her.
He doesn't reply to messages, nor does he answer calls.
Alas... how to meet him? It's really headache-inducing.
