I became secluded in my little cabin and began to work on my novel. I got lost in the little fantasy world I've created when writing this- I heard a knock which ripped me away from my thoughts, "Excuse me miss- anything from the trolley?" I debated on it for a second then said, "Sure- would you be able to do two of each if possible?" she nodded, and i helped her with it and gave her what was needed, " thank you miss." Then she continued & I waited till she was decently gone and I cast a spell whispering it in the process.
I know it's not a smart move on my end. But I have been practicing and I accidentally made a spell that would be able to cloak and become soundproof in a certain area and it is my little fantasy world without any trouble or problems. And it's almost my escape. I have always loved the Gothic Victorian era. Between fashion, and art. Everything about it. It has always intrigued me and it's like a piece of home for me.
I am still trying to find a way to get my parents back. On their 10th anniversary, they wanted to renew their vows and decided to get married again. My mother wore this gorgeous black and purple Victorian gown and she looked like a queen. But that day, I lost both of my parents because of an unwanted guest. She cursed my parents to live as eternal statues. And so now they live in the world I created and no matter how hard I try to find new ways to break the curse it doesn't work.
And every time it doesn't work, I feel like I've failed my parents. Well, I might as well not dwell on things for now, I do know that I might be able to get a few chapters done before we get off the train.
9 hours later:
Hogsmeade station
I hadn't realized I drifted off to sleep- I awoke when I heard the train whistle blow and stammering footsteps. I quickly adjusted and gathered my belongings and my jacket. I knew I had to make a trip over to Diagon Alley soon, but I will do that shortly. Or on a weekend.
I just got off the train and made my way to a more open spot and tried to look at my surroundings. But before I could, someone bumped into me, & I heard, "Watch where you're going- didn't anyone ever teach you manners." rolling my eyes, 'I was standing still you moron" That's what i wanted to say but instead, " My apologies, i should have known." And with that, I walked to a different spot. I set my belongings down and heard, " Hi, I'm Hermione- are you familiar with Hogwarts?" I looked up and knew who it was even though she introduced herself.
" No, rather a returning student, my name is Astrid Demolza." She said, "Oh alright then. I dont think I've ever seen you around?" I explained "That could be true. I always stuck to the shadows & my studies. I am a bookworm so I spend most of my time in the library & most of the time outside of the classroom." Before she could press more questions someone walked over and said, "Where is your little friend group mudblood?" It was who seemed to be a Slytherin. Still, after hearing him and his friends berate Hermione, it set me off. I held my tongue and gritted my teeth as my hands were balling to a pair of fists. I told heromine, "Don't listen to them- they are just projecting their solemn little lives. I hope to see you around."
The term mudblood has been thrown around a lot by those witches and wizards who aren't, 'pure blood'. It's stupid, and honestly a horrible name, between that and the love potion- amortentia? That is just the magical version of a date rape drug. I think that they should ban it from being created. And why can't we start using the term mundane? Technically that would be considered human.
The term mudblood just seems so foul. Everyone is different in their unique way but we all have the flaws we know. Just because someone is different it doesn't make them any different than the next person.

Ravenclaw common room
In the few days of school picking back up. I can personally say that I have missed it here. Going over my studies I was greeted by an unfamiliar person, " Hey Astrid, this is for you." The simple girl handed me a note and I gave her a nod. She scurried off back to her friends & i read the note to myself,
" Dear Astrid,
In your time away things were challenging, but we wish you the best, all will come soon, there is a lot you have to catch up on though. Meet me in the library by your favorite section.
Much chaos and love
D.M"
I quietly let out a laugh, I thought he would have gotten suspended by now. I gathered up my books and made my way to the library.
Library: Drama section
I was looking through the books and picked up a few which seemed to be a hopefully good read. I know it will be on my very long to-be-read list or TBR. Falling deep into my thoughts, I didn't realize there was a presence behind me till I heard a familiar voice, "You have no idea how much I missed you, my rose."
Spinning around, I accidentally smacked him with the books. " Oh, crap! I am so sorry, I didn't mean to you kind of startled me-" And I continued rambling on with my anxiety running loose, he put a hand over my mouth, " Are you done?" I nodded feeling the guilt eat me alive.
"Good, & you're fine Astrid. I didn't feel it." He let go, we walked over to a table & I crushed him in a hug, "I missed you, dork."
He smiled, "I missed you, Astrid." I can't lie, I missed how his eyes sparkled and his platinum-blonde hair. But this demeanor of his, he's rude to others which I wish he wasn't but he's protective of those he cares about.
" You know, you still scrunch your nose when you laugh. It's cute." I asked, " Did you just say it was cute?" I was confused, I like Draco but I've had this huge crush on him since 1st year and I'm just scared of what he might say or others.
