Taoming Ye gently pulled her closer, without getting up, simply kissed away her tears, and softly comforted her, "Don't cry, okay? It hurts me seeing you like this. I've woken up now, shouldn't we be happy?"
Su Xing then sniffled, stopped crying, and snuggled closer to Taoming Ye.
Taoming Ye first kissed her eyes again, then kissed her lips, and chuckled lightly, "Didn't realize you're such a crybaby."
Su Xing immediately glared at him and retorted, "Whose fault is that! If I were lying here, unable to wake up for seven days and nights, let's see if you'd cry!"
Taoming Ye said with particular seriousness in a gentle voice, "Cry, I'd definitely cry my heart out. Just for that reason, I can protect you and would do anything to keep you safe."
"Don't make me cry anymore!" Su Xing's eyes reddened a bit, looking as if she might cry again. Her husband nearly lost his life protecting her, and just thinking about it made her want to cry again.
