Huo Bei, "Okay."
Jin Bo hung up the phone and dialed Yan Xiaoxi.
Yan Xiaoxi was in the kitchen washing vegetables, preparing dinner. Hearing the phone ringing in the living room, she wiped her wet hands on her apron and dashed to the living room. She quickly picked up the phone and saw it was Jin Bo, answering, "Are you working overtime?"
Jin Bo, "Hmm."
Yan Xiaoxi glanced at the time, "So when will you be back roughly?"
Jin Bo picked up a hand crossbow from nearby, "I'll be back very late. You go ahead and sleep, don't wait for me. I'll eat dinner out. If it's too late, I won't come over."
Yan Xiaoxi heard that he had a social engagement, "Okay, then I'll just cook for myself."
Jin Bo thought of Huo Bei going over and worried she might feel awkward.
He believed Huo Bei would soon call her, so he didn't mention it, glancing at the time on his wrist, "Then cook early, eat early."
Yan Xiaoxi, "Okay, I'm hanging up."
