He lay there smoking, watching the view outside the window.
As for Ye Bai, she lay on the bed, tossing and turning, unable to sleep, her mind stuck on the scene she just witnessed in Shen You's room.
To be honest, she couldn't quite articulate how she felt, it was strange.
It wasn't the same as when she used to help him before!
Back then, he was in a vegetative state.
Now, he's himself, and it feels less like a medical situation.
She silently cursed Shen You as a pervert and closed her eyes.
She didn't know how much time had passed, but she only fell asleep when she was finally tired.
But Shen You smoked the afternoon away.
...
Ye Bai was sleeping well, only to be woken up by the ringing of her phone.
Seeing it was Huo Jinnan's call, she picked up, but before she could speak, she heard Xiaoqi's adorable soft voice, her heart melted like sugar, "Xiaoqi, did you call your master?"
Xiaoqi, "Yes, Master, I miss you. Can you come to my house?"
Ye Bai, "Sure, of course."
