Ji Xiaoxi sat in the living room for quite a while before finally going to shower, unable to hide the smile on her face.
Lying in bed, the images from the evening after getting off the car at Oak Manor flashed back like a replay in her mind, causing Ji Xiaoxi to suffer from insomnia again.
If she couldn't sleep, she wouldn't force it. Ji Xiaoxi turned over and went to the study.
It was already past midnight when she turned on the computer.
In Dark City, Ji Xiaoxi vaguely remembered there used to be more than ninety players, and at this moment, more than eighty were online.
Sighing about the abundance of night owls, Ji Xiaoxi was contemplating whether to take on some task when a dialogue box from Kobe popped up.
"So late, and you're still up? Working overtime again?"
Kobe asked.
"Can't sleep. A round?"
Ji Xiaoxi asked as she opened the system's task bar to see if there was any challenging task she could take on.
