When the phone rang, Gu Cheng'an and Ji Xiaoxi were in the middle of a kiss they really didn't want to stop.
He was going to hang up and not let it interrupt his "serious business", but out of the corner of his eye he caught the two characters on the screen, and Gu Cheng'an had no choice but to answer.
"Hello, Mom?"
Still lightly pecking at Ji Xiaoxi's lips, Gu Cheng'an picked up the call.
Ji Xiaoxi jumped, her eyes shimmering as she glared at Gu Cheng'an. She hurriedly pushed him away, braced a hand on the eaves, and sat properly on the rooftop.
Seeing her not even daring to breathe loudly, looking just like a primary schooler waiting for the teacher to call on her, Gu Cheng'an couldn't help but laugh.
"What bad thing are you up to? Going to bed so early?"
On the other end, Yu Wanqing's voice came through, pretending to be stern but unable to hide the smile in it.
