Elland was doing household chores just as usual when he sensed someone's presence at the door. With an exaggerated speed, his head turned to see who the person at the door was.
Standing in there was a figure who's over 2 meters tall. Nothing about him stands out, except for his eyes and presence that gave Elland an indescribable feeling of fear and horror. Inside his eyes, tentacles surged out as it gave the feeling of the strongest human emotion, fear.
Without realizing it himself, Elland took a step back as his body uncontrollably shrunk. The figure took a step forward, causing Elland's heart to jump.
Suddenly he frozed.
His entire body shows no signs of life, as if the thought to retaliate was never there. He stood emotionlessly, as if he just became a robot.
Klein slowly entered the house, not worried that other people will sense that something happened to Elland.
He took his time as he pulled a chair before observing the house, as if he was visiting a friend's house.
Meanwhile, Elland was still sweating but he is still unable to control his body, standing in there like a lifeless puppet.
Klein look into Elland as he spoke with a voice containing no malice:
"Can you introduce yourself?" Klein asked calmly as if Elland was an acquaintance and not a hostage.
Elland regained control of his body. With a nervous tone, he inquired,
"I-i'm Elland—Elland Charles. I'm not a "Beyonder". I-i work mainly in the farm, but I also received job like hunting hog in the forest nearby..." Elland knew of the term beyonder. These people wield powers by drinking potion provided by the church.
One can become a beyonder by having it as your main course in schools that the Churches raised and sponsored.
According to what Elland heard, these are types of beyonders powers that people can choose: Arbiter,Bard,Reader,Savant, Sleepless, Planter.
Elland once saw a beyonder enforcer kill a "humanoid" monster near the villaged by shooting it precisely until it dropped dead. Other than that, Elland has no encounter with beyonders. He saw beyonders as upholders of justice and protector of the weak.
As long as he answered the beyonder in front of him honestly, he will definitely not get hurt.
Klein nod and asked his next question:
"Did you have any unusual encounter? Like meeting someone or something that is beyond human comprehension." Klein asked looking into Elland's eyes.

In an outskirts of Backlund, two people who look exactly the same was currently discussing something.
"I think that maybe infiltrating the churches itself would be a bad idea."
The man wearing a black rimmed glasses said.
Hearing what the other guy said, the guy who's wearing a turtleneck sweater nodded his head.
"Indeed. But although infiltrating the churches would be dangerous to our current knowledge, that doesn't mean that schools is the same! If our stronger body were to be in our current situation, then he'll definitely decide that infiltrating school will be a bad thing. But we're not the same, we we're told to not act exactly like "ourselves"."
The avatars of Klein addressed him as "stronger body" instead of main body, as if they were the same person and just different strength. This is definitely dangerous compared to other people, but Klein definitely has measured against this, and the avatars knew it too.
"By not acting ourselves, I think he means that we should act more differently than him, but not entirely differentiate ourselves from him."
The wouldn't rebel against Klein, as long their level doesn't approach that of his or near his.
The glasses wearing Klein—Klein Shannon frowned as he look at the Klein in front of him—Klein Adonis.
"Why are you even wearing that type of sweater? Can't you see that it's literally burning hot right now." Klein said as he fixed the position of his glasses. This action of him together with his attire being too formal—made it appear as though he was a nerd.
Klein Adonis look at the nerd Klein in front of him as he coughed lightly, with an embarrassed expression, he asked:
"Can you lend me some of your money?"
The Shannon frowned as he abruptly looked into The Adonis in front of him. This fellow who's dressed as if he was going to a business trip is actually poor? What bullshit is this?
"You don't have any money? Why not go and rob a bank?" The Shannon suggested as he took a sip of his coffee.
The Adonis Klein looks like he wants to retaliate but he stopped midway, thinking that it might actually be a good solution.
After all, despite being an avatar, they were all the same Klein. Yes, the same Klein.
