Nero and Silas walked out of the lab as their free time was coming to an end and they needed to return to their respective battalions. Both of them, however, seemed to be in a daze as they exited.
Nero was preoccupied with thoughts about his card, and future iterations he wanted to create, and how they would play a role in his plans. Silas, however, was thinking of something else.
He could not help but recall their time in Lumina, inside the library. He was supposed to have fallen unconscious, but in truth he had been awake, if only barely. His memories were not the clearest, but the faint, silverish moonlight produced by the card Nero produced was too familiar for him to forget so easily.
