CHAPTER 100 : THE FINAL STRIKE
"Meet me, alone.❤️" Evander read the message out loud, then slowly lifted his gaze toward Alexander, his expression shifting from confusion… to pure mischief.
"Ohhh. We're at that stage now?" Evander said, poking Alexander's arm with his finger. "Am I going to be an uncle soon?" A smirk spread across his face.
"Get out." Alexander said flatly, thinking it was better to decode this on his own instead of involving Evander.
Evander raised both hands in surrender, still grinning as he walked out, clearly entertained.
But Alexander didn't move. His eyes remained fixed on the screen. The message didn't sit right. Not the words. Not the heart. Not the timing. It wasn't her.
For god knows how many hours, Alexander did something he rarely ever did - Overthinking.
He replayed every conversation. Every look. Every reaction from the past few days. Eleanora had changed? Yes.
But this? This didn't feel like change. This felt like intent. Dangerous intent.
