Going to the position Jocasta had instructed me to stand during the broadcast, I just wanted it to be over. I was standing next to a man and a woman who I attempted to give a polite smile to as I got into position, but received nothing from them. They were just posing and putting on faces that looked really bizarre.
I just looked around again and found Maxine looking at me from the other end of the row. She was a nice kid so I gave her a friendly wave at which point she violently shook her head at me before gesturing to me to look ahead.
I rolled my eyes but complied. As my face turned to the front, I wasn't sure how I missed it, but at least a hundred cameras were now floating in front of us from all angles as well as screens that were now displaying us in real time.
'Jeez, I look like a fish out of water. How does everyone else look like they belong here? I look like a meerkat looking around for danger.'
