Originally, Chai Shu thought that was how she would spend her whole life, but then one day, people suddenly came into the mountains to grab people. Many girls from the nearby villages were taken, and the old man was beaten to death trying to protect her. It was only then that she suddenly discovered she seemed to know martial arts, but two fists couldn't fight four hands, and in the end she still failed to escape.
They were first captured and locked up in a stockade. There, everyone was fed some kind of insects, and after that, many of the girls died on the spot, until only three were left.
She was one of the three who survived.
After that, these three girls were chosen to become herbalists.
