It was late at night when Yuna took out the fragment of the dimension stone she had obtained from the royal treasury.
She brought it closer to her chest, and—barring any surprises—it flew toward the stone embedded within her chest and began to merge with it.
The only incomprehensible thing was that, despite the fragment being the size of an egg, it melded seamlessly without any visible change in volume.... Especially its' size.
Or… perhaps it had grown bigger inside her chest, while its outward appearance remained the same?
Yuna could only do her best to ignore such incomprehensible things.
She had long accepted that the dimension stone, the mutated Moonlit Orchid, and herself had already entered a state of symbiosis. One could not exist without the others.

The Moonlit Orchid was more like a parasite, depending heavily on her blood and the dimension stone.

Sighing, Yuna walked to the window and looked up at the night sky.
