Chapter 109: Blow You Up

Bai Liangfeng moved extremely fast. Just as Zhang Yang heard the sound of the car, the Lamborghini had already started. It was less than ten meters away from him. At the same time, the system let out a sharp cry: [System warning: Life-threatening danger detected. A sports car is rapidly approaching ten meters ahead. Expected collision from the left in 1.2 seconds!]

Zhang Yang obviously had time to react, but what about Yang Fei beside him? Without much thought, he reached out, grabbed Yang Fei's body, held her across his arms—felt like he just squeezed her boob—and instinctively rolled to the right.

He had just hit the ground when the Lamborghini's front wheel scraped past his thigh, the front of the car slamming hard into the steps at the teacher's entrance, climbing a few before slowing down.

Zhang Yang glanced at Yang Fei in his arms. Seeing she was fine, he quickly stood up, only to hear a few students shouting.

"Someone got hit!"

Hearing that, Bai Liangfeng in the car didn't panic at all. Instead, a trace of excitement flashed across his face. He was almost certain that the hit just now would've taken out that damn Zhang Yang for good. The only pity was that the beautiful Yang Fei would be caught up in it too.

But recalling the moment before impact, it seemed Zhang Yang had dodged slightly while holding Yang Fei!

He instinctively hit the brakes and turned around!

Just as he turned his head, a massive fist appeared in front of him and smashed right into his nose!

"Bang!" His skull slammed into the steering wheel, stars filled his vision, and when he touched his nose, he felt searing pain and warm blood. That punch even knocked out one of his front teeth.

"You bastard!" Zhang Yang punched him, jumped into the passenger seat, grabbed Bai Liangfeng by the ears like a dead pig, yanked him out of the car, and started stomping on him wildly.

The nearby students rushed over instantly, phones out, recording from all angles.

Some even called the cops right away—"Rich punk hit someone with his car!"

Yang Fei finally came to her senses. She stood up, brushed the grass off her clothes, still elegant as ever, and walked over with a cold face. Seeing Zhang Yang still stomping hard on Bai Liangfeng, she finally tugged at his sleeve and said calmly, "That's enough. Let the police handle it."

She wasn't sympathizing with Bai Liangfeng, just worried Zhang Yang might kill him and get himself into legal trouble.

Zhang Yang gritted his teeth, barely suppressing his urge to kill the bastard on the spot, and withdrew his foot. If not for the system's warning, he'd be either dead or crippled by now. That bastard deserved to die a hundred times over—and yet, he'd just made Zhang Yang burn through the second of his Three Danger Warnings.

Bai Liangfeng's stunt had totally backfired. Not only did he fail to hit Zhang Yang, but he also injured two students nearby—one with a broken leg, another with a knocked-out tooth.

After Bai Gang and Du Yuheng got up from the grass, Bai Gang, still better off, anxiously made a call, while Du Yuheng quietly slipped away. In a scene like this, showing his face would only earn him the "rich punk" title too.

Zhang Yang glanced at Bai Gang, who hurriedly stepped aside with his phone, while Bai Liangfeng was now surrounded by the injured students, taking quite a few hits himself in the chaos.

Watching Yang Fei crouch to check on the injured students, Zhang Yang sighed inwardly. He really seemed fated with her. The first time was when the crystal fell from the sky and hit her car—almost got her killed, and the system saved them both. Now, again because of a car, the system saved their lives. Coincidence? Or… coincidence?

About seven or eight minutes later, the police and ambulance arrived. Seeing Bai Liangfeng beaten into a pulp, the officers were stunned. After a quick investigation, they handed him over to the doctors.

The doctor's conclusion: one student had a fractured shin, another minor scrapes. As for Bai Liangfeng, despite looking terrible, it was just a broken nose and a missing front tooth—technically a minor group-fight injury!

"Well, he's making tomorrow's headlines—'Rich Punk Hits Student,' the next Yao Jiaxin!" one cop muttered.

"Serves him right. Too bad it's just surface injuries."

Lying on the stretcher, Bai Liangfeng's face turned livid at that remark. He wanted to yell, but seeing Zhang Yang's expression—darker than his own—he swallowed his words.

He hadn't killed Zhang Yang, but now he was in deep shit! Thinking that, he quickly shot a look at Bai Gang, who was staring blankly nearby: "Tell my dad."

Bai Gang got the hint, nodded, and pulled out his phone.

Zhang Yang burned with anger but only sneered. He had no intention of wasting time at the police station. First, he had urgent matters. Second, since no one had been hit directly, Bai Liangfeng wouldn't face real punishment anyway.

Still, his payback was coming soon. When that time came, old and new debts would all be settled—he still had Yang Jing's situation to deal with.

As soon as Bai Liangfeng was carried away, the school leaders arrived. Zhang Yang glanced at Yang Fei, not wanting to linger, and whispered, "Teacher Yang, may I treat you to dinner?"

Yang Fei was momentarily stunned, frowning slightly as she looked at him, thinking, After what just happened, you still have the mood to eat?

Seeing her clear disapproval, Zhang Yang scratched his head and lowered his voice, "I want to ask you for a favor. Not a good place to talk here."

"A favor?" Yang Fei gave him a skeptical look. "What is it?"

"It's about your sister."

"Yang Jing?" Yang Fei looked at him, clearly annoyed. "Don't you know her better than I do? Why ask me?"

Her tone was cold, but recalling that Zhang Yang had just saved her life again, she softened a little. "Where to?"

"Just…"

"Qiduo Café," Yang Fei interrupted before he could finish.

Zhang Yang nodded helplessly. He had just left there not long ago—now going back again? What a joke.

Sure enough, when they arrived, the same waitress saw them and squinted into a crescent-eyed smile. When Yang Fei wasn't looking, she even gave Zhang Yang a secret thumbs-up.

Nice one, bro. That's how you do it—sent one girl off an hour ago, now you're back with another, even prettier one!

Zhang Yang wanted to die of embarrassment but couldn't do anything. He glanced at the corner seat, thinking of avoiding it, but Yang Fei insisted on that very spot. He almost blurted out, Can I say I left that seat less than an hour ago?

Yang Fei ordered a steak and a latte, eating quietly. Zhang Yang sipped hot milk through a straw, watching his goddess take small bites. He wasn't hungry at all.

After a while, seeing Zhang Yang still silent, Yang Fei glanced at him and casually asked, "Do you think your teacher's hard to talk to?"

Zhang Yang quickly shook his head. "Not at all!" You're eating, how can I interrupt?

"Yeah, right." Yang Fei lowered her head and kept cutting her steak. "So, what do you want to say about Yang Jing? I'm listening."

"Well, teacher, do you happen to know who Jing-jie's boyfriend is?"

Yang Fei froze, knife and fork stopping midair. She looked at Zhang Yang, then resumed eating. "Why, you got a thing for Yang Jing?"

The straw in Zhang Yang's mouth slipped out. "No, I just wanted to ask if you know a guy named Xie Long."

"Xie Long?" Yang Fei, who had been eating daintily, put down her utensils and frowned. "Why bring him up all of a sudden?"

Her eyes carried a trace of disdain.

Zhang Yang immediately picked up on it—seems she knew that guy, and he wasn't a good one.

"Yeah, I heard he's coming back to Meining tomorrow night."

"Tomorrow night?" Yang Fei's delicate brows arched slightly, a faint, mocking laugh escaping her lips.
