Chapter 282: The Scenery in the Bathroom

Ao Tian looked suspiciously at Zhang Yang's back. After thinking for a moment, he followed.

"How did he get hurt?" Ao Tian asked casually from behind.

"Bullet hit!"

"Serious or not?"

"Go see for yourself." Zhang Yang answered impatiently.

When they reached the third floor and walked a short distance down the corridor, they saw someone approaching from afar, already shouting: "Yangzi, Yangzi."

"Isn't that Gao Qi?" Ao Tian stared at the beauty running toward them in a pink V-neck tight cotton top, whose towering curves bounced wildly with each step. He looked at Zhang Yang and asked suspiciously.

Hearing this, Zhang Yang turned around and stared at Ao Tian. "You seem pretty familiar with the people around me."

"Come on, isn't that obvious?"

"Yangzi!" Gao Qi ran up to them, first glancing at Zhang Yang, then shifting her eyes to scan Ao Tian up and down. She frowned and asked strangely, "Who is this beggar? How did he get into the hospital?"

"Beggar?" Ao Tian almost tripped. "Hey, hey, who are you calling a beggar?"

"Eh… You're not a beggar?" Gao Qi hid her hands behind her back, tilted her head, leaned closer, sniffed him, and then waved her hand in front of her delicate nose. Somehow she produced a coin from nowhere and tossed it to Ao Tian while shooing him away. "Yeah right. Shoo, go, go."

"What do you mean?" Ao Tian stared at the one-yuan coin in his palm, black lines spreading across his face. Was his image that bad?

"Hurry and go before I call security. This is a military hospital."

"Sister Qi, don't misunderstand. He's not a beggar." Zhang Yang walked over and seriously explained, "He is—"

"I know, I know." Before Zhang Yang could finish, Gao Qi cut him off, giving Ao Tian a dismissive glance.

She said, "He's your new little underling, right? Honestly, Yangzi, do you pick up every stray cat and dog now? Taste, taste, do you understand?"

As she spoke, she scanned Ao Tian from head to toe like he was something rotten, while slowly stepping back.

Ao Tian panicked and glared at Zhang Yang. "Damn it, aren't you going to say something? Stray cats and dogs? Underling?"

Hearing this, Zhang Yang finally muttered weakly, "Alright, alright. Sister Qi, stop joking with him. He's my friend."

"Friend?" Gao Qi curled her lips. "He's that old? Must be at least fifty, right?"

"Bullshit!" Ao Tian ran his fingers through his messy long hair, trying to pose coolly. "You little brat, what do you know? Where do I look fifty? I'm barely over thirty, okay?"

"Barely over thirty?" Gao Qi looked at him suspiciously, pouted, then ignored him and turned to Zhang Yang. "Yangzi, I booked the hotel. It's right next door."

"Hotel?" Ao Tian looked at Zhang Yang, frowning. "Did you bring a lot of people?"

"They came to visit their injured colleague. Any problem?"

"Oh." Ao Tian gave Zhang Yang a glance, thought for a moment, then said, "Then I'll go see too."

"I'll take you." Gao Qi looked at Zhang Yang and ran ahead to lead the way.

Entering the room, Ao Tian looked around and indeed found several important figures from Zhang Yang's villa gathered inside.

On the bed lay a man connected to all kinds of monitoring equipment.

"Yanqiang?" Ao Tian frowned.

"You know him too?" Zhang Yang looked at Ao Tian with suspicion.

Ao Tian raised a fist to his lips and coughed lightly. "Cough… cough… Isn't that obvious?"

He glanced at Yanqiang on the bed and said calmly, "Looks like he's badly hurt. I can't help much, but I know the leadership here well. I can have them call specialists over."

"Really?" Xu Danlu walked over. "Then we'll trouble you. We were planning to transfer him to Meining University Zhongshan Hospital tomorrow. Looks like we'll be spending the New Year here instead."

"You're transferring him tomorrow?"

"Yes. His wife and kid are waiting at home. His injuries aren't that serious, so taking him home would ease their worries."

Ao Tian hesitated, silent for a while, then nodded. "Alright then. I wish this brother a quick recovery. I'll visit another day."

"Hehe, thank you. No worries, there'll be chances."

"Mm." Ao Tian nodded, then looked at Zhang Yang. "I'm going to check on Lieutenant Pan. Still a pile of things to handle. I won't disturb you."

After saying that, he frowned slightly and walked out.

Once he left, Zhang Yang let out a small sigh of relief.

Earlier on the balcony, while chatting nonsense with Ao Tian, Zhang Yang had already secretly called Xu Danlu. With Gao Qi delaying him halfway, Xu Danlu had just enough time to stage the scene. Meixin was actually in another room.

"Lulu, that conversation you had with that guy felt strange to me."

Xu Danlu glanced at Yanqiang on the bed and said calmly, "Get up. Stop pretending. He's already seen through it."

"Seen through it?"

"Mm." Xu Danlu let out a bitter smile and looked at everyone. "Isn't it obvious? If Yangzi were injured, it'd make sense for a big group of us to show up. But it's Yanqiang who's hurt, and supposedly not seriously, yet we showed up with a whole crowd. Isn't that basically admitting it? I messed up in the rush. My fault."

"How can it be your fault?" Zhang Yang walked over and said, "He didn't expose us anyway."

"He didn't expose us because he doesn't want to fight us right now. I've made it very clear we're going home for New Year and taking Yanqiang—meaning Meixin—with us."

"But he also left himself room. Didn't he say he'd visit another day? That means he won't cause trouble now, but later… who knows." Xu Danlu looked at Zhang Yang. "Yangzi, taking Meixin home may be a blessing or a curse. Hard to say."

Zhang Yang smiled. "It's been a long day. Everyone's exhausted. Let's discuss tomorrow."

After checking on Pan Ningning in the SICU, Zhang Yang stayed in the hospital for a while. By then, it was already past ten at night.

A little after ten, Lao Yi called saying they had delivered the package to Wu Village. They'd stay the night and head back to Meining at dawn.

Ao Tian didn't return to ask about Meixin or Yanqiang either. Everyone silently acknowledged the situation.

Zhang Yang didn't understand why he didn't expose him on the spot, but as Lulu said, given the circumstances, it wasn't smart for Ao Tian to confront him now. And since he already knew Meixin was in Zhang Yang's hands, he wasn't worried about her running anywhere.

After taking sedatives, Meixin fell asleep. Zhang Yang hired a caregiver and left Yanqiang and the doctor on duty at the hospital before heading to the hotel.

The hotel Gao Qi booked wasn't far from the hospital.

Nearby was a scenic tourist area, but since it was winter, there weren't many visitors. The hotels were mostly empty, and the prices were cheap—one hundred fifty yuan for a three-star room.

Gao Qi didn't hold back and booked an entire floor—eight rooms—meaning their group of four could each have two rooms: one to sleep, one to play. Not wasteful, since it ensured no one disturbed them.

He had been very tired, but after showering, Zhang Yang suddenly felt refreshed. He thought about going to chat with Lulu, but when he passed Room 307, he noticed the door was ajar, and faint sounds of running water came from inside.

Room 307 was Gao Qi's. Hearing that tantalizing sound of someone showering, Zhang Yang felt his heart stir. His footsteps paused at her door.

He hadn't touched big boobs for days. When he lifted Meixin's tight suit earlier and saw her voluptuous breasts, he immediately thought of Gao Qi's equally round and full pair.

She should still be in her safe period. Zhang Yang gently pushed the half-closed door. It opened silently. He frowned. This brat—taking a shower without even closing the hotel room door. Just because only their people stayed on this floor didn't mean she could be so careless.

The bathroom was right beside the entrance. The door was frosted glass. Though he couldn't see clearly, the light inside was bright due to the heater, making faint outlines visible from where he stood.

Sure enough, inside the bathroom, a tall snow-white figure was turned away from the door, holding the showerhead and rinsing herself. Even through frosted glass, her graceful curves were obvious—her slim waist that could be held with one hand, her round perky hips. Her long white legs were hard to see clearly but pressed close together.

After rinsing for a while, she stopped to grab the body wash. When she turned slightly, Zhang Yang caught a vague glimpse of her proud curves. Even though steam was fogging the glass, he could still tell—they were big…

Watching for a moment, Zhang Yang unknowingly felt a certain part of him turn rock hard. Feeling uncomfortably pent-up, he got an idea. Fine—tonight he'd play something exciting.

He closed the room door quietly, reluctantly taking his eyes off the snowy figure behind the bathroom door, and walked into the room.

It was a standard room with a 1.8-meter bed. Zhang Yang scanned the space. Only two possible hiding spots—the curtains or under the blanket.

Zhang Yang's lips curled into a smug smile. Gao Qi might act bold, but she was actually timid. Scare her a little, and she'd surrender instantly.
