As the title prefaces, this isn't a chapter lmao. I am just coming by to say a few things, first the next chapter will be posted on the 17th this week, or if my file corrupts again (what happened with Burning Red's one don't even get me started with that headache) by the latest on the 19th. This month I will for sure post 2 HLWC chapters, I am trying to slow down with the schedule I was attempting (if you check my BlueSky you'll see my ADHD mess ha ha), the other chapter will be posted around the 24th (HOWEVER I am going on a trip for my wedding anniversary around that date so it might be late if I have any problems at work).
Ok, why am I saying all of this? Because this month is October, Halloween. Just like last year, I am doing a Halloween special chapter for Vahe x Lyor and Rainier x Lowe, but the second one will be posted in their own story (Burning Red, check in my profile), not in HLWC's Side Stories.
SOOOO, I am, contemplating in making 2 specials for Vahe x Lyor, the first one I have already decided on the theme and it'll be posted on October 31st, but the second one I decided to try asking y'all (last time no one voted so please do because I am extremely needy) and if I manage to get a theme decided it'll be posted on November 1st.
I know y'all want new chapters BUT, doing Side Stories IS faster and easier, this story is extremely complex to write, believe me I know I suck at writing so it doesn't look like I have pages of lore, poorly drawn maps and several chapters of character profile to check every new chapter I write (which takes me 10h MINIMUM of non-stop writing, whilst side stories I write during my 30min work breaks and takes max 2~3 hours total, so yeah).
Going straight to the point, I have a few ideas but none are too set in stone, hence the voting, so here it is, please vote in your favorite in the comments (this chapter will be deleted after the side stories are posted).
1. Beastman, Fox Hybrid Vahe x Tiger Hybrid Lyor.
2. Corruption of an Angel, Fallen Angel Vahe x Archangel Lyor.
3. Haunted Mansion Murder Mystery, Detective Vahe x Young Master | Suspect Lyor.
4. Guideverse, Guide Vahe x Esper Lyor.
5. Love Born from Hate, Hero Lyor x Villain Vahe.
Also just wanted to say that the 4th one is based in a story I started writing to exercise during a writer's block, I swear I wanted to post as its own story but I'm not exactly the best at updating my stories so I didn't do it lmao. But it is fun writing it every time I have a big block with HLWC since its the same characters. To be honest, I sometimes want to scrap all of my other new ideas (that are too many to admit) and just write a lot of stories surrounding alternative versions of Lyor and Vahe, because damn I love them so fucking much. I had so many ideas for their alternative versions, Guideverse, Omegaverse (that I must admit I suck at writing because I cannot commit to the campiness), Hunters, Vampires, Modern Times as well, even the Halloween Side Stories I said here are all ideas I had before.
Thanks, and see y'all in a few days with chapter XXXII.
