Tan Yanli stepped forward and took Xue Yirong's arm, turning to Lin Runjie and saying, "Runjie, let's tidy up the guest room tonight so Mom and Dad can be comfortable. They can stay as many days as they like!"

Lin Runjie was a bit baffled and unsure of Tan Yanli's intentions. He leaned towards her and whispered, "If Mom and Dad stay at my place, won't they find out about our separation? Then they'll..."

Tan Yanli interrupted him softly, "Mom and Dad won't find out!"
Hearing her willing to move back to his apartment, Lin Runjie raised an eyebrow and looked at her, whispering in her ear again, "With Mom and Dad here, we can't sleep in separate rooms like before."
Tan Yanli looked up at him ambiguously, pursed her lips, and mimicked his gesture by leaning in to his ear, replying, "I never said we were going to sleep separately!"
