Lian Limin was drinking red wine at home with glee; just thinking about Luo Yao's ashen face filled her with satisfaction.
That foolish woman was too easy to deal with. What was Lu Shaoyuan thinking, marrying a woman with no brains? If it were her, she would definitely not be as indecisive as Luo Yao.
"Hehe..."
Lian Limin swirled the red wine in her glass and laughed smugly. She watched the wine swaying in the glass and, even though she was drinking cheap red wine now, she dreamed of the day she became Mrs. Lu and could drink all the high-class red wine she desired.
She was already beginning to dream, imagining herself as Lu Shaoyuan's wife, living in a big house with servants attending to her everywhere she went.
"Ding dong! Ding dong!"
The doorbell rang, interrupting Lian Limin's dream. She set the wine glass down on the coffee table, frowned slightly, and wondered who would come looking for her at this hour, especially pressing the doorbell so urgently.
