Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Spicing up a boring day

Since I couldn't train all night, I decided to train during the morning. I left the house five hours before I had to go to the academy and went to the training grounds.

As expected, Sasuke was already awake.

"Hey, Sasuke! Let's train together!" I exclaimed, running up to him.

Sasuke looked surprised as he asked, "Are you going to make this a habit?"

"Yeah, well, someone has to make sure you take care of yourself."

Sasuke and I trained for three hours before I forced him to stop and take a bath.

I then went back home, got ready to go to the academy, and headed to Naruto's house. I woke him up and made him get ready while I made breakfast.

We sat down and ate as I listened to Naruto excitedly tell me about the pranks he'd pulled recently.

Somehow I still managed to make it to class before Naruto.

As I was scanning the classroom, my gaze landed on Ino, Sakura, and other girls who, as usual, were arguing about who gets to sit next to Sasuke.

I walked past them and went to where Sasuke was sitting, moved his bag, and sat right next to him.

I closed my eyes, resting my head on my hand. But even with my eyes closed, I could feel some of the girls glaring at me with pure hatred, others with envy.

I opened my eyes once again, a smile on my face, and gazed specifically at Sakura and Ino as I said flirtatiously, "I know I'm absolutely gorgeous, but if you keep staring at me, you'll make me blush."

I suddenly felt the hatred directed towards me grow, which only made me happier.

Before any other girl could sit next to Sasuke on the other side, Naruto arrived, exclaiming, "Seriously Hinoka! Of all the people to sit next to in this class, you chose that idiot Sasuke?!"

I smiled seeing Naruto as I said, "No way, I didn't know you were scared of Sasuke."

"Yeah, right! There's no way I'd be scared of him!" Naruto exclaimed as he sat down on the other side, next to Sasuke, "See!"

I chuckled, saying, "Sorry, I guess I was wrong."

Hearing that Naruto had a triumphant look on his face.

Ino started walking up to Naruto, and I could already guess she was about to tell Naruto to move so she could sit next to Sasuke, but just then the teacher entered, telling everyone to sit.

As class started, Sasuke shot me a confused glance, and I shot him back a grin.

At the end of class, all the girls gathered around Sasuke's desk.

"Who gave you permission to just sit next to Sasuke-Kun?"

I turned to Sasuke and said, "You don't mind, do you, dearest 'Sasuke-kun'?"

He visibly flinched hearing me call him that before replying, "I don't care."

"See, he doesn't mind," I said to the girls.

"So, I can sit next to Sasuke-Kun tomorrow!"

"No, because I'm going to sit next to Sasuke-Kun tomorrow!" Sakura exclaimed, scowling at the girl.

"Why do you get to sit next to Sasuke-Kun, Hinoka!?"

I sighed, looking at them like I was in love, "Because dearest Sasuke-Kun doesn't find me annoying, unlike how he finds you guys annoying." Imitating how they looked when they were talking about Sasuke.

They all looked at me shocked, and I could see Naruto on the verge of bursting out laughing.

I suddenly grabbed Sasuke's hand and Naruto's as I exclaimed, "Now I'm going to run away with Sasuke-kun; we'll get married, and you'll never see him again!"

I added a dramatic villain laugh to add a little more flair before running off.

Just as we were about to leave the academy grounds, I spotted the girls chasing after us as they screamed.

After a few minutes, Sasuke, Naruto, and I lay on the roof completely exhausted after finally having lost the other girls.

Both I and Naruto burst out laughing when Naruto pointed at Sasuke, laughing as he said, "Your face is all red."

Sasuke turned the other way as he exclaimed, "Shut up, you idiot!"

And what reason could I possibly have for doing this? Yeah, I was simply bored...
