The evening turned into night and Sea, Leo, Eve and I finally came back to the home and Eve was now completely exhausted and she had finally started feeling sleepy but Sea kept her awake because for her as well, she shouldn't sleep without having a dinner. Leo and Sea reached to the house and they both moved to the kitchen quickly to prepare the dinner and Leo commanded me, "Ichiro, please close the door."
I kept Eve on the sofa and moved back to the door...and stopped for a second, and looked at the night sky, there were no stars and nor the moon was appearing, but I just smiled and closed the door and turned back and moved to the sofa and sat next to Eve. Eve looked at me and said, "I thought you would make dinner for everyone, but you aren't?"
I smiled with a sweat, "I know how to prepare dinner or meals, I know everything and I could let them relax and take the responsibility of it, but again...by just watching my horrible meals, they both would deny to eat and you know what would happen, they would say that I should not make it and they will take the responsibilities of it anyways, it will be so trouble."
"So you think like that?" And Sea was standing at the kitchen and looking at Eve and me and I nodded my head, that would only happen, I am sure about it. But Sea loved to fight and oppose against me so she started walking towards Eve and I, sat between us and said, "Well, if you think like that...then prove it, go and make the dinner for us. I will not say a single thing, and we will accept your meals, we have never saw you making meals ever either, so let's see what will you make, I am excited, go ahead."
I had no problem, and I stood and started walking to the kitchen and Sea called Leo and ordered him to leave and join with her. Leo started sweating, didn't understand Sea and said, "They are our guests...aren't they?" But Sea and I together said, "We are more friends than being the guests and relatives."
"Let him cook, Leo, we haven't saw Ichiro making a dinner either anyways." Sea said and Leo looked at me and I smiled with closed eyes and nodded my head in front of a stove, "Go and take rest and get ready for my dinner, I won't disappoint you all, but only on one condition that you all won't judge my meals by how it looks, just sit and take rest and talk, I will prepare the dinner...now go."
Leo was surprised but he just smiled and he finally started walking to the sofa and sat next to Sea and Leo and Sea said together, "Let's see how horrible it would look, we won't judge it, you just make it."
I prepared my meals while Eve was hearing the stories of mine, Sea and Leo, with curiosity and I took twenty minutes and the dinner was ready. I took it in a bowl, covered it and Sea and Leo stood and Sea picked up Eve on her shoulder that Eve blushed but she didn't say anything. Sea settled Eve on her seat at the dinning table and Leo and Sea took their seats and I kept the covered bowls and plates for everyone and I took my seat next to Eve and we all joined our hands and prayed first and then opened our eyes. Finally Sea and Leo were excited to see what I would have made and with excitement Sea opened the cover and they both looked at the bowl...and Sea and Leo were stunned, completely shocked...the meal was looking, actually horrible...it was looking like a food less and poison more, and Sea and Leo looked at each other, now regretting for their decisions.
But Eve and I remain silent, didn't react because we were having the same thing from a whole month and we both know the taste and we also know that it won't be so bad. We both took our parts and finally took a bite...and Sea and Leo were frozen, shocked...couldn't believe that Eve and I could even eat the horrible thing! Eve and I were eating normally while Sea and Leo didn't had courage to even look at it, they realized that their plan was a big failure and they looked at me and Sea asked, "...Can I take my words back, Ichiro...?"
I laughed gently, "Sure, but only when you at least take one bite of it. At least taste one bite then you can judge and decide whether it's better to make a new one or whatever."
Sea and Leo looked at the meals...they gulped and they just took a single part on their spoons from the bowl and were still hesitating...but they just opened their mouths and took the single piece in and ate it...and Sea and Leo were frozen, their expectations were broken, they took another piece and this time chew it properly and they were more surprised...but they still started sweating, looked at me and said, "No way...have this meal made our sense of taste so bad and destroyed that it's actually tasting good?"
I smiled with a sweat and Eve laughed loudly. She looked at Sea and Leo and said, "A month ago when big brother made meals for the first time, I was also hesitating. But his meals may look horrible but it tastes good, it is edible and I am having it from a month and nothing happened, nor anything happened to big brother, so don't worry, it's good."
And I started sweating more, Eve's words hurt me but what could I even say now, I just sighed and looked at my meals and started having it, Sea and Leo smiled with a sweat and said, "So that was the reason you were saying that to first taste and then judge, Ichiro? As always...you have always given us surprises which we could even never expect, you always break our expectations...it's really you, Ichiro."
The night continued and Eve was finally sleeping after having her dinner and for the first time I got my own bed and I was also sleeping at the guest room where there were two beds. I was trying to smile but I couldn't look away from the sky throughout the window...the sound was still coming in my eyes, and it was now becoming a little bit clear...I just smiled and closed my eyes.
Sea and Leo were walking at the hallways, going to the guest room to check and whispering and talking, "His meals weren't so bad, I tested and consumed honey as well and my sense of taste was perfect, so his meals were actually good, although he should also focus on the decoration and how it looks, the rest is perfect." Sea said and Leo nodded his head agreeing with Sea.
Sea and Leo reached to the guest room and slightly opened the door slowly without making any voice and looked in the room, Eve was sleeping peacefully and looking cute and Sea and Leo looked at me and my eyes were closed and they thought that I am also sleeping. They both smiled with a sweat, having the flashbacks of the dark past when I used to stay awake at night and trouble others, but actually I didn't use to trouble them but they used to take trouble on their own, sometimes I used to walk at night and if they didn't see me in the group, then they all would panic and start worrying about me and trying to find me, they used to scold me, saying to sleep early but I wasn't one of them...and I used to reply to them over it that I am actually one of the top leader of the Night Owls...I was still a kid and they used to sigh but at the end they would laugh, it was scary for Leo and Sea because their sleep was also on bet and they also used to worry about me, but it was also the memories which made their days and they loved those days and memories.
"...The top leader of Night Owl...is sleeping at night..." Leo said and Sea laughed gently with a very low voice and they both closed the door and Leo and Sea started walking to their bedroom to sleep and Sea looked at Leo with a bright smile and said, "Maybe he is now the top leader of the Early Birds." And Leo also laughed.
The King reached back to the castle, all the ministers in the castle were also captured by the army inside the country and they were gone for investigation. In just the night, the King had abolished the powers the ministers had and they all were expelled from their jobs and the ministers had lost everything. Even if any minister would be declared innocent, they won't be the minister anymore and would just be expelled from the castle but will also get some money to maintain their income to manage the family but just till a month and till the month they will need to get another work somewhere for their survival and stable life and at that time the King wouldn't help.
The King was sitting on his throne and he looked at the other seats at the hall and they were empty, they were of the ministers and it felt a little bit alone but he knew that a person is more lonely when he is with the wrong people, not when there's no one. Suddenly the gate opened and a voice came, "You called me, my majesty?"
The King looked in front, and smiled. "I had just called you to know if your parents are fine or not? Is there any recovery of them? I know that you had to come from them only to ask but if they want something then you can ask and I will give it."
The girl smiled looking down, and answered, "There's no recovery, no change...their health is not worst nor they have improved, but they have started sleeping for longer times than before, nothing else. And they don't need anything, whatever you have given is enough. That's all."
The King smiled, "...I see, by the way, there's one work for you...there's a ceremony of the Academy new session, so would you come...?"
"I have no problem, I will come then...and maybe, I will now join the Academy...I don't know, but ok. I have done almost nine times, then I will come this time as well."
The King looked down and said, "Well, it is two weeks later so you can stay and take care of your parents by that time and I will tell you whenever it starts."
"Sure."
And the one turned away and started leaving again, the gate opened and it left. The servants were watching her and feeling a little bit sad for her and her parents but they knew that King is trying to give everything, even if in exchange of something, but still he is giving, and nothing else they could do or anyone else could do. The one walked away, covered the face and left the castle again.
The morning arrived, Sea was crying because she didn't want Eve and me to leave but it was the time for our leave. Eve and I were ready to leave having our things and some gifts Sea and Leo gave and in exchange Eve and I also gifted them simple things we were having and we all were standing at the road.
Sea tried to stop her tears, she wiped them by her handkerchief and said, "If...you both can't stay with us...then don't forget the promise either...you will come back, to us, Eve and Ichiro...I want to see you both once again, in a better a happy life...promise me."
Eve and I smiled and Eve gave her pinky finger and said, "It's a pinky promise." And Sea was stunned by that, Leo smiled and Sea just laughed out, nodded her head and she made the pinky promise and said,
"It's a...pink promise, you will come back to us...one day, then."
