Eve and I continued moving and looking at the houses, big buildings of wood and the whole first city of the country. The evening was almost going to end and the sky had became dark, I looked up at the sky...finally realizing, that I am not so far to achieve what I actually want to achieve. Eve looked at me and there was a question in her mind she was thinking about all the time, she thought for a while thinking whether she should ask or not, but she decided to ask anyways, "Big brother, was there any reason...that you sold the apples? I mean, we are traders so we want profit, but I am just curious if there is some other reasons for that. And I am just curious to know, otherwise you can deny to tell if it's something personal, I won't mind that."
And I laughed, "Personal? What to even hide it from you, even if it's personal. Anyways, my reason to sell it for a little bit of profit, there's also one more reason...that he mentioned his wife now in the story."
Eve was surprised, she was confused that how the topic of wife now interfered here. She looked at me and I imagined and said, "I think I can understand him, a real lover will always try to make her partner happy which he wanted to do, so that was the another reason for that, and there's nothing else. I don't have any other reason for that."
Eve was surprised, "...You are saying like there is actually someone you love, do you had a wife big brother when I wasn't born?" And I started sweating...I think I am trapped in a very bad situation now, how would I explain this to Eve... but Eve was now becoming more curious and she looked down at me and said, "Huh? Big brother? Is there someone you love? Do I have a sister in law? Do you have a fiancee? When were you married? And if not then why will you marry? I want to see her, I want to see your future wife if you are not married. I want."
And I started sweating even more, having no idea how I would explain this to her, it was so complicated. I sighed, and tried to twist it and replied, "No, I am not married, but I can feel how he felt by imagining and being on his positions...and there's one thing, when you don't have something, you realize it's value and you learn by that, similarly, I am not married but I have learned about it with its absence..." But Eve still didn't understand completely, she was still surprised and confused and I sighed and hit at her head lightly and said, "Now stop it, don't think much about it, you don't need to think about it either, you are way too young for now."
Eve was surprised by the hit, she remembered that it only happens when Eve is winning, I am losing against her but I also can't let her win, then I would do that to change the topic. My cheeks were a little bit red but I just smiled and Eve looked at me and a teasing smile came on her face and she said, "So my big brother is in love, huh? Well, if you don't want to tell me then don't, but at least tell me when it becomes permanent, I really want to go and attend your marriage, ok?"
And I sighed, I finally gave up and didn't say anything else ahead to it now. I couldn't argue against Eve now either because she was winning anyways and I had trapped myself in the question.
A girl while hiding her face by a cloth and her eyes were covered and I passed by her and I smiled, but didn't react and just moved ahead. We both crossed, and after some steps...the girl's eyes widened and she turned back with a little bit of panic, but in the crowd Eve and I had disappeared... and she smiled, thinking, "...It can't be him..." And she turned away again and continued walking.
But Eve was looking back, trying to find the girl and she with a smile said, "So she was your wife, huh? I couldn't see her, that's something sad...but I am just surprised that my own big brother actually loves someone, and she's from other country...now it makes sense, why you chose to come here, and choose this country." And I smiled with a sweat, Eve knows me so well, she just recognized me by just a simple change in my smile and she read my whole mind and caught me... it's such a pain, I have made her so capable that it's troubling me but I am still happy that she is this much capable now. I continued walking and cleared one thing first, "I don't know her, first of all, and the second, I am not here because of her...I have some other reasons which I know you will understand quickly, I hope you will understand that...Eve."
But Eve just laughed, she wasn't going to understand for sure now, as much she knows me that much I would know her. I can't force her to believe in me either because she won't believe in me anyways, it's useless, so now I just walked ahead and kept on looking at the map, there were some decisions we made and also plans for the night.
And at the prison, the Magician was sitting on the floor, feeling disgusted and hatred for the King of his own country and his beliefs. He had lost his title of being a teacher and he was just considered as a great criminal now, if he thinks about it then each and every citizens should have bowed down in front of the King of North, but did anyone do that? He looked up at the ceilings, and he kept it those thoughts aside and now he started thinking about his students...and suddenly he smiled, knowing, "They would be whether missing me or they would be happy that they haven't to learn and teach by me from now on, those kids...but still, they were my own something, maybe I missing them, I guess." And the Magician laughed-- but his laughter was spoiled by the smell he was smelling all the time again...the prison was completely with the dead bodies of the other criminal who had died here, no one even cleared that and the bodies have been decomposing from years and it was smelling so bad, it spoiled the Magician's mood again, but he can't do anything either and he sighed, he knows that it can't be helped now.
The Magician, as said, that he was or I still say that he is one of the greatest magicians ever, he had mastered one of the magic which was capable to fight and win against a god who owns many magic, but he wasn't born with that, it wasn't his talent, but it was his madness for the knowledge of magic and he was so lost in his work that at the point, the book ends, the point till where only humans could understand they know about magic, he wrote and moved ahead of it, before his arrival, the knowledge of the magic was limited but after his arrival he expanded, made it true and so he is still considered one of the greatest magician ever. But now he is in such a bad condition, all because of his madness only. The great magician choose to live peacefully with a lot of money, but he was still obsessed with knowledge that he choose to give the knowledge to others so that maybe they will expand the knowledge or could help him for that, and today, he is imprisoned all because of that only. But if he thinks about it, if he thinks about teaching...he would only say that if he gets another chance and would be free, then he would still choose to teach. He would laugh about it, thinking that what else he even knows to do other than teaching.
He laughed on thinking about it, but suddenly his eyes became widened and he became normal, and started acting like he is becoming mad by the condition, completely mentally ill and a person stops in front of the bars...and it was Ichiro. Ichiro knew that he is just acting and said, "You can't fool me, I know you are acting and you are actually completely fine."
But the magician didn't stop his acting which was his only way to manage the things now. And when Ichiro saw that he is still acting like that, Ichiro was frustrated but just tried to calm down and looked away from him and said, "Whatever...I am just here to tell you..." And a creepy face came on Ichiro's face, looking at the magician and said, "...I defeated your student from whom you expect the most...again...do you know how bad condition she was in...I...defeated her...again..."
But the magician still kept on acting, but from inside he was sure...that Emi would be going to win for sure then, because he knows Ichiro as well, and he realized one more thing about Ichiro, that his mental somehow is actually not good, after this respond of him. Ichiro got no answer and he just sighed with a little bit of anger and he turned away and started leaving again...and the magician stopped acting once he stopped feeling the presence of Ichiro, and he sat properly and looked up at the ceiling and thought with curiosity, "...What would have happened at their fight then? I really wish I could see that...sad."
I finally stopped, and Eve and I looked ahead...and there was a small abandoned shelter there in another forest, but in the North country, and the shelter was given at the map and Eve and I purchased it after finding and dealing with the one who was owning it. Eve and I smiled and we both started walking to the shelter. Eve and I reached to the door, and looked aside and there was also a huge lake just next to the shelter. I looked at the door and finally opened it, keeping it all aside and smiled and said, "Welcome to your own home...Eve."
Eve was confused, but she thought that I called her that because she was the one who made the deal and she smiled and nodded her head, "Yes yes, it's my home, my home." And I smiled and entered in.
Everywhere was just darkness, I looked around and there was also no bulb or switches, just like our former shelter where Eve and I spend ten years. But we had a lantern and I light it up and looked at the little shelter made with wood, it wasn't so big, there was just a small kitchen, a small bathroom, and a bedroom and in front was just an empty area which was connected with the door and it was also connecting with other rooms, it was even smaller than our previous shelter but it was just fine and it was cheap so of course it won't have great facilities but I think that all would be fine, Eve and I will manage, this was sure.
I finally kept Eve on the basket and said, "I will just clear a little bit quickly, then I will prepare dinner and then you sleep, till that you take rest and look around if you want. Ok?"
And Eve nodded her head with a bright smile and I smiled, patted on her head and finally started walking away with a broom and started cleaning the shelter a little bit.
