Chapter 292 - Chapter 292: (Movie 2) The Power of One Part 2

The speed boat cut through the waves with Maren at the helm, the group enjoying the journey toward Shamouti Island. The sky had been clear and bright when they departed, but as the hours passed, the weather began to change dramatically.

Dark clouds rolled in from the horizon, heavy and ominous. The once-calm sea grew restless, waves rising higher and crashing against the boat with increasing force. Strong winds whipped across the deck, carrying the sharp scent of an approaching storm.

Misty gripped Ash tightly, pressing herself against his side. "The weather changed so suddenly! Ash, hold on!"

Sabrina wrapped her arms around his waist from the other side, her usual calm expression showing a hint of concern. "This doesn't feel natural…"

Daisy clung to his back, burying her face against his shoulder. "It's getting really rough!"

Giselle hugged him from the front, her face buried in his chest. "Master Ash…!"

Ash was literally being crushed in the middle of a harem sandwich, his face slightly red as four beautiful girls held onto him for support. Despite the situation, he couldn't help but smile softly. "I've got you all. Just stay close."

Pikachu and Eevee were standing on the railing, their small bodies braced against the strong wind. Both had serious expressions as they stared out at the turbulent sea, ears twitching and eyes sharp. The current was pushing the boat strongly toward Shamouti Island, almost as if the ocean itself was guiding them there.

Maren gripped the wheel tightly, fighting to keep the boat steady. "This storm came out of nowhere! Hang on tight, everyone!"

Scene Change – Pallet Town, Kanto

Back in the peaceful town of Pallet, the weather was also turning strange. Dark clouds gathered overhead, and strong winds rattled the windows of Professor Oak's lab.

Professor Oak who was cycling in the town greeted delia ketchum and amber who was helping her adopted mother tending the flowers with mimey and clefairy.

suddenly the climate started to change the people of the town were watching the unusual phenomenon.

"Mom, look!" Ember pointed at the sky. "The clouds are moving so fast!"

Delia frowned worriedly. "This isn't normal weather for this time of year…"

Professor Oak observing a large group of Pokémon Pidgey, Rattata, and even some larger ones all moving hurriedly in the same direction, as if fleeing something.

"Pokémon can sense abnormalities in nature far better than humans," Professor Oak said seriously. "Something big is happening… and it's affecting the entire world."

Mimey looked concerned, mimicking Oak's worried expression. while clefairy trumbling while hugging amber's leg.

Inside the Ketchum Residence

In Ash's house, Mew floated lazily near the window while Mewtwo stood with his arms crossed, both noticing the sudden climate shift. The sky outside had turned dark, and strong winds howled through the trees.

Mew tilted her head, her pink body glowing faintly. "What is the problem with the bird trio now? Are they fighting for territory again like they did 1000 years ago?"

Mewtwo turned toward her, intrigued. "The bird trio? Tell me the details."

Mew's eyes sparkled mischievously. She floated closer with a playful grin. "I'll only tell you if you give me that hidden sweet Amber gave you last week~"

Mewtwo's expression turned annoyed. He crossed his arms tighter. "Fine. Don't say it. I won't trade the sweet for that silly information."

Mew puffed her cheeks with a loud "Tch!" sound, clearly disappointed that her trick hadn't worked. Mewtwo remained unmoved, though a tiny smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth.

The strange weather continued to worsen across both the Orange Islands and Kanto, as if the world itself was reacting to an ancient disturbance.

The speed boat finally slowed as it approached the shores of Shamouti Island. The island's unique silhouette rocky cliffs, lush greenery, and ancient stone structures came into view under the stormy sky. Even with the turbulent weather, the island radiated an aura of mystery and tradition.

As soon as the group stepped off Maren's boat onto the wooden dock, they were suddenly surrounded by a large group of islanders wearing elaborate tribal masks shaped like the legendary birds fiery Moltres, electric Zapdos, and icy Articuno. The masks were colorful and intricately crafted, giving the welcoming party an almost mystical appearance.

Ash and his girls instinctively moved closer together, while Tracey looked around with wide-eyed curiosity. Pikachu and Eevee stayed alert on Ash's shoulders.

One of the masked figures stepped forward and removed her mask, revealing a friendly, familiar face. Maren's eyes lit up instantly.

"Carol!" Maren exclaimed, rushing forward to hug her old friend.

Carol laughed warmly as they embraced. "Maren! It's so good to see you again. You made it just in time for the festival."

The two friends began catching up quickly, speaking animatedly about old times and the current festival preparations. Maren then gestured toward the group with a smile.

"By the way, these are my new friends. They're looking for one last adventure before heading back to Kanto."

Carol turned to Ash and the others with a welcoming smile. "Welcome to Shamouti Island! I'm Carol. Are you here for the Legend Festival?"

Maren grinned and nudged her friend. "Carol, are you going to be the star of the festival again this year? The Festival Maiden?"

Carol shook her head with a soft laugh. "I'm getting too old for that role now. This year, my younger sister will take over as the new Festival Maiden."

At that moment, a young woman with vibrant red hair and a slightly annoyed expression walked over. It was Melody, Carol's younger sister. She was dressed in a beautiful modern dress with sun glasses looking modern.

Melody crossed her arms and complained, "Do you guys really have to wear this ridiculous costume? It's so outdated."

Carol immediately reprimanded her gently but firmly. "Melody, this is our tradition. You know how important the Legend Festival is to the island. Please take it seriously."

Melody sighed dramatically but eventually relented with some reluctance. "Fine… I'll do it."

Carol then turned back to Maren and the group. "So, who are your friends?"

Maren proudly introduced them. "This is Ash Ketchum he's a Pokémon Trainer and the recent Orange League Champion who defeated the undefeated Drake!"

The moment Maren mentioned Ash's achievement, the islanders' eyes widened in awe and excitement. Whispers spread rapidly through the crowd.

"A Pokémon Trainer!" "The one who beat Drake!" "The Champion is here!"

The people suddenly burst into joyful celebration. Some started dancing in traditional styles, others clapped and cheered loudly. The atmosphere turned festive in an instant.

An elderly man the island head stepped forward with a warm, respectful expression. He bowed slightly to Ash.

"Ancient tales have foretold the arrival of a Pokémon Trainer.

Only with his help can the Guardian of the Waters quell the great titans of fire, ice, and lightning. In your hands,

oh Chosen One… welcome to Shamouti Island. This is our tradition."

The islanders continued their joyful welcome, surrounding the group with smiles and excitement.

Melody, who had been watching from the side, walked down the steps with a playful smirk. She approached Ash confidently and, without warning, leaned in and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Welcome, Champion~"

The moment her lips touched Ash's cheek, a dark, heavy aura instantly erupted from Ash's four girls.

Misty's eyes narrowed dangerously. Sabrina's psychic energy flared subtly. Daisy's gentle smile turned sharp. Giselle's expression became outright territorial.

The four girls moved in perfect sync, surrounding Ash possessively and hugging him tightly from all sides, almost crushing him again.

Misty spoke with a dark smile. "Excuse me… Ash is our boyfriend. We don't appreciate some second-rate hussie kissing him without permission."

Sabrina's voice was calm but carried a chilling edge. "Please refrain from such actions in the future."

Daisy's smile was sweet but terrifying. "We're very protective of what's ours."

Giselle added with a cold glare. "Master Ash belongs to us."

Pikachu, Eevee, and Tracey froze in fear. The three of them hugged each other tightly, trembling at the sudden dark aura radiating from the harem.

Tracey whispered shakily, "Scary…"

Melody blinked, then smirked back with amusement, clearly not intimidated. The villagers and other islanders gulped nervously at the sudden tense atmosphere, unsure how to react.

The Legend Festival on Shamouti Island had just gotten a lot more interesting.
