Charizard spread his wings and glowed with restorative energy, healing some of the heavy damage while Rayquaza circled above, waiting for an opening. The moment the recovery finished, Charizard unleashed a colossal Fire Blast a gigantic kanji-shaped inferno that exploded against Rayquaza's body. The legendary roared in pain as flames licked across its scales.
Rayquaza answered with a devastating Hyper Beam, charging a massive orange laser in its mouth and firing it at near point-blank range. Charizard barely twisted aside, the beam scorching his left wing and leaving a painful burn.
The serpent followed up immediately with Outrage, entering a frenzied state and barraging Charizard with a relentless series of powerful dragon-type strikes claws, tail whips, and body slams that turned the sky into a chaotic battlefield.

The impact created a new crater and sent shockwaves rippling outward.
Rayquaza burst from the rubble with renewed fury. It used Dragon Pulse repeatedly, firing rings of concentrated energy that forced Charizard into defensive aerial maneuvers.
One pulse grazed Charizard's shoulder, causing him to roar in pain, but he refused to yield. Instead, he performed his own Dragon Dance, boosting his Attack and Speed to match Rayquaza's enhancements.
