I can't take anything she does seriously why is she so.....
The council met today and as i wait i just think that this is so dumb why do i have to be the one sitting here it has nothing to do with me they are the ones who messed up not me. not that this is anything new i am always the one who has to take on the responsibilities that they don't want. a sigh escapes my lips as i straighten in the chair my fingers tightening around my phone as i glance at the door for what must be the thousandth time.
she is so soft i would never wait for anyone....
Finally a electronic chime sounds and a voice says: "(name) please enter now." i gracefully rise, step toward the door and gently pull it open. as i enter the familiar sight of the room greets my eyes the dark wood paneling, the smooth marble pillars, the dark green carpeting, the shining metal accents, and the walls of curtains hiding away the council members from view. i walk to the center of the room and then step onto the raised wooden platform my breath catching as i feel the pressure of the council's gazes resting on me.

The familiar electric interface flickers to life filling my view with a dark green glow and my breathing steadies, deep breathes i remind myself they are not here for me. once again anger and the familiar sting of discouragement flare in my chest. thankfully a chime finally sounds in the quiet of the room startling me out of my thoughts and refocusing me.
scatterbrained why is she so rabbit like ugh....
"(name) you have been called here today as a representative of the (name) company do you swear to uphold the creed in all that you say here today" a deep electronic voice states the interface flickering slightly as a glowing screen appears. "i (name) swear" i say my voice steady.
