Cover the entire island?

The vast ocean originally had no reference points. If the Formation could conceal the entire island, it would seem as if the island had disappeared from the ocean, achieving an effect of seclusion and safety.

The Flying Boat descended from the sky and landed between two peaks. Nico Weaver shouted loudly, "Cristopher, open the door!"
The white mist between the peaks churned, lights flickered, and in an instant, the white mist completely vanished, revealing a passageway through the canyon.
The Flying Boat passed through the canyon passage, and the view suddenly opened up.
Surrounded by mountains, lush with trees, there was a clear small lake in the center, beside which stood a black mansion-like structure.
