The two staff members at the civil affairs bureau took a while to calm their excitement.
The young female employee followed the marriage registration procedure and handed two application declaration forms to Ruan Qi and Xi Jiu.

Ruan Qi took the form, thanked them, and started to read it carefully.
But Xi Jiu didn't even glance at it and immediately picked up the pen to begin filling it out.
Filling out a form doesn't take long, and shortly after, they were finished.
The female employee collected the two applications and led them to the next room for photos.
