Something fell from that humungous beast's belly. That thing was like a shooting star; glowing bluish energy was hovering in front of that thing.
"Thhhdd!!" The sound of crashing into the ground was heard, followed by dust around the area of impact.
That thing crushed several beasts and rose from the corpses of those beasts like nothing happened.
Beast blood drenched her back, but her eyes were still locked on that humungous beast. The beasts' blood slowly disappeared as her eyes glowed bright in bluish-green energy.
"What is happening?" people who could not see asked in worry and fear. "Look there!" one of them shouted, turning their focus towards the humungous beast whose body was disappearing.
"Is this over?" some of them who were barely standing slowly sat on the ground. "Noo!!" "It is not over yet; get ready, something is there," a voice from the front line shouted.
The humungous beast wasn't disintegrating like ordinary beasts, but it felt different; its head had sunk inside its belly, and its upper body was turning into blackish particles which dripped into its belly.
After a few minutes, that humungous beast's body wasn't there; instead, a beast was standing in its place. Its eyes were reddish-black, its black fur was shining under the moonlight, and its gaze was fixed on her.
She moved towards the beast; using her energy in the form of a blade, she stood in front of it.
"Grrhh!!" the beast roared, rushing towards her; the beast covered its claws with reddish-black liquid. Their weapons clashed; a tiny explosion occurred, pushing them back.
Both moved a few steps back; she started running towards the beast.
The beast started running around her; she stopped in her place, looking for the beast's attack. She swung her blade; "cling," the beast jumped back. Its speed was starting to increase; earlier she had deflected those attacks with ease, but now she was having some concerns.
The beast's eyes glowed for a second as its attack moved through her defense. "Cling," she reacted in time; the beast moved back with a smile on its face.
The attack intensity increased with each passing moment, but she stood her ground. Her blade glowed for a second, followed by multiple slashes which the beast easily dodged.
The beast launched another attack which she easily dodged. The beast jumped back, preparing for another attack. It jumped for another attack; the ground below its feet collapsed, making its jump less powerful.
Before it could react, she swung her blade towards its head.
The blade's glow was reflected in its eyes. It opened its mouth and roared. The air exploded, giving it a push to move away from a direct hit; however, a cut was there on its head after the attack.
She took her stance, pointing her blade towards it.
The beast started to growl while moving around her. Within a few minutes, they exchanged several attacks, but neither of them was able to deal any significant damage to the other.
The beast smiled, followed by a slash attack; it connected. The beast slowly moved toward her, its eyes narrowed, and it turned defensive while its eyes were still glaring at her. She didn't react much to that attack, just holding her blade firmly like nothing happened.
There wasn't even a single drop of blood on her stomach area. In confusion, it looked toward her stomach, then its claws, but before it could form any conclusion, she moved again.
"Grhhh!!" the beast roared; it dodged the attack. It moved a few steps back, looking for an opportunity; after a few minutes, it found another opening. "Swish," a direct hit.
The beast tried to laugh, but it turned silent; she was still unaffected by its attack.
"Grrrhhhhhhh!!!" the beast's anger only grew; it roared. Its body shrunk a bit, followed by a blackish-red liquid covering its whole body.
A few Yava Viskans rushed to help her. "No!!" she shouted, but before they could understand, the beast launched slashes; that blackish-red liquid expanded, turning normal slashes into massive slashes.
She moved closer to the attack, using her blade to try to block that attack. It split into three; one attack was blocked by her and the other two hit their target.
But she was too late; the majority of people with direct contact were killed instantly, their lower bodies still moving but their upper bodies fallen behind.
The slash traveled across the area; even a tiny scratch was enough to infect their bodies, eventually turning them into dust. Their deaths were filled with immense pain as their flesh turned darker and darker in the shade of violet.
Those infected bodies' flesh broke from their bodies, falling onto the ground, and their bones cracked open into dust.
That strange beast roared in its place; as a result, beasts trying to attack those survivors suddenly stopped in their groups.
That beast was still focused on her. Its eyes narrowed to see what she was looking for. A smile returned to its face upon realizing what she was after.
