There is a fundamental substance that serves as the most basic component in isolating dimensional universes: antimatter.
To humanity's current understanding, this so-called "antimatter" remains a mysterious entity—our knowledge of it is limited, let alone our ability to harness it. In higher-dimensional universes, it is somewhat better understood; it can be detected and partially comprehended and utilized at a basic level. Yet antimatter is largely unconstrained by any known universal laws. To the higher-dimensional "Creators," it functions more like fuel or a barrier material—ubiquitous yet impossible to easily detect or exploit. Within the solar system universe, if matter accounts for 10% of the total cosmic mass, then the remaining 90% consists of antimatter. Thus, one crucial factor in breaking through dimensional boundaries lies in surpassing the speed limit of the current dimension (the fastest known speed within the solar system universe being the speed of light). What prevents such transcendence is precisely antimatter—because the greater the velocity, the stronger the opposing resistance generated by antimatter. At present, this problem remains unsolvable within the solar system universe, rendering it effectively a prison: one can enter, but not escape, since the conditions of this universe do not allow existing technology to break free. However, in the Creators' dimensional universes, due to the high activity of foundational elements, relatively strong governing rules, and relatively simple traversal across planar barriers, crossing dimensions becomes a possibility—even if only an extremely remote one.
Originally, antimatter served as the fundamental separator between different cosmic dimensions. When beings from various dimensions, driven by their respective universal rules, repeatedly experimented with acquiring antimatter, they triggered subtle fluctuations in its properties. As a result, antimatter was increasingly captured by advanced lifeforms from different dimensions. This process is relatively straightforward: when antimatter in a given dimension is captured, the resulting vacancy is immediately filled by another, higher-order form of antimatter flowing into place. Thus, changes in antimatter directly manifest as shifts across different dimensional universes—and these very changes are precisely why antimatter becomes capturable.
Antimatter originally carries what matter cannot hold. It acts as a solvent, bearing entities beyond the capacity of the material world while resisting its encroachment. It also functions as a wall—an invisible, rigid barrier of time and space—holding what cannot be held and blocking all connections between dimensional universes. It exists everywhere yet remains undetectable. Its presence resembles the nature of light: in the material world, light behaves both as particles and waves. When confronted with consciousness or attempts at capture, it becomes nearly impossible to detect or comprehend. When ignored, it occupies every remaining spatial void within your environment. It is paradoxical yet logical—so difficult to perceive, or in certain dimensions, entirely undetectable.
