After last time's misfortune, they're really worried that something might happen again between Meng Xinian and Jiang Xiao.
For example, Meng Xinian could suddenly have an emergency task and need to leave.
They all know that once he has a task, it's impossible to refuse, as he must obey orders and carry out the task.
Not just them, Meng Xinian himself is holding onto a sense of tension, worried he might just have a task at the time.
So, despite not showing it outwardly, he's been tense all this time.
However, Chiang Songhai and Xu Linjiang were genuinely happy knowing Meng Xinian was promoted to Junior Alliance Officer.
He's already a Supervisor Guard. No matter how worried or tense, it doesn't help; they still hope for his bright future and continuous advancement.
Preferably, in the future, he won't have to undertake such dangerous tasks anymore.
But Chiang Songhai and the others dare not speak this hope out loud.
